We have 4 dots, 1 spot and 4 buttons. They work great with the Xbox, fire tv, ring doorbell, smart plugs and smart lightbulbs! All can be controlled by the devices or the app when away from home. Everything can have a routine on times. There is also a home guard for when away from home that will turn on and off the lights and send alerts if it hears things like glass breaking.

Can I connect all my echo products so that if I am playing music in my kitchen my other each speaker will play same? I have 2 with screens as well so will it play same show at same time? The generations of products does that matter for compatibility?

You set them up one at a time. But through your app or echo/google or apple home device you can control them either separately or together. So you can have one on or both and they can be set with different colors. You name your bulbs and that’s how you tell your echo device to turn them on or off or change colors, you can put your bulbs in a group, like name it a room (kitchen) and then you can control all the bulbs in the kitchen together. The same things can be done through the app. Hope that makes sense.
