This gimbal has been a great purchase. I've heard of the previous versions of the DJI Osmo and have been curious, but never pulled the trigger until this version. I'm glad I did.
The iPhone has pretty good optical stabilization in its cameras, but it doesn't hold a candle to what's possible with this. Video taken with the phone in this gimbal is buttery smooth. I have not noticed any sort of instability or shakiness at all. It doesn't always swing in the direction I want it to swing fast enough, but that's probably just because I haven't completely gotten used to using a gimbal.
The unit itself is easy to hold in the hand and most of controls are within easy reach for one-handed use. The trim controls (zoom) are a little awkward to use, but as I've used it more, it's become easier.
My one complaint is that it requires the DJI software to take video with the gimbal. I completely understand why that is (the OS has no concept of a gimbal), but it's not a great app. It does fine, but it's not the easiest thing in the world to use. A lot of hidden options. Plus, it has not yet been updated to take fully take advantage of the new cameras in the newest iPhones. That said, it does its job and I have no complaints about the video quality.
I would highly recommend this if you are looking for smooth video. If the built in stabilization in your phone's camera is good enough for you, the case for this is a bit less.

Not having the 3.5mm headphone jack on my new iPad Pro required that I buy this recently before a trip where I wanted to watch some movies on a plane. I don't have bluetooth headphones (and don't see a need for them when the ones I have are high quality and work fine), so I needed a way to plug them into the iPad. This adaptor from Apple was it.
It works fine. It's exactly what it looks like. Plug it into the USB-C port and you can plug in your headphones.
It was relatively cheap. But, it shouldn't be necessary.

Let's be clear here: This movie isn't great. It's beautiful to look at and it's obviously got its action set pieces. But, the story is so-so. The acting is...well...it's acting.
But, I love this movie. I could watch it a great number of times (and probably will at some point). I don't know why. It's not really all that good, but I love it nonetheless.

In the grand scheme of things, this power strip is very similar to many others. The reason I went with this one was that it was rated for 2,100 joules of protection. It's being used for my father-in-law's computer setup. To be fair, I have no idea what would happen if the house took a crack at its electrical system and hope I never have to find out. But, I do know that the super cheapies are worth crap for that type of thing.
I don't use the USB ports on this (again, because it's being used for a computer setup). Although I guess it's good that they're there, I don't consider them necessary. There are a bajillion different ways to charge things via USB nowadays. What's one more?
It's a power strip. What more is there to say?

Spectacular portable external drive

This SSD external drive is super fast and, so far, rock solid reliable. I can't say enough good about the Samsung T5 line of SSDs.
Although SSDs are still much more expensive per MB than spinning disks, the costs have come down and are very much worth it. I use this specific drive to do backups of my MacBook Pro with SuperDuper!. What took an agonizingly long time before (even using the SmartUpdate option) now finishes relatively quickly. A half hour, tops, versus the over an hour it would take before.
It's not as fast as an internal SSD would be, but it's close enough and, as I said, I can't say enough good about it!

What can I say? This is a pretty solid adapter that does what it I need it to do. I am using it to convert the HDMI output from a 2012 Mac Mini to a DVI-in for an old early-2000s Dell 20" flatscreen monitor. Works fine. It's a little bulky, but I'm not sure it could be that much smaller, really.

I purchased this SD Card Reader because I needed one in the moment (I accidentally left my normal reader at home on a trip) and this one was cheap. For what I used it for it worked well. The cover over the USB plug is a little annoying and the build quality isn't top-notched, but it's cheap and it works.

This adapter does exactly what it says. It converts a USB-C port to a USB-A port. Build quality is good, as one would expect from Apple. But this adapter is EXPENSIVE. I purchased it because an Apple adapter was required by my company. But, I personally wouldn't buy this and would get a much cheaper alternative. I would not recommend unless you truly want Apple specifically.

Nostalgic Fun with Some Great Games

This is a great little throwback to my youth, playing various games on my NES. The only effective difference is that I don't need to blow out the cartridges before playing the game.
I love this little box (and it IS LITTLE). It looks like a mini-NES, but the controller is full-sized and feels just like the original (except that the cord is laughably short--don't expect to sit too far from the TV with this one). Getting around the menu to select the game you want to play is a little clunky, but once you launch the game, they behave exactly as you expect them to, in all their glory (or lack thereof in a few cases).
There are 30 different games on here. Some are greats and some are not so greats, but I guarantee you'll find something here that makes you smile. I'm just happy it has Mario 3, which is only the best side-scroller game of all time (and I mean that).
The only drawback (aside from the, again, laughably short controller cord) is that the games look much more pixellated on a modern HD TV than they did on the old CRTs of yore. They aren't actually more pixellated, but they certainly look it. That's the effect of today's TVs being so much more crisp and clear than the old CRTs.
I'd give this five stars, but that (did I mention?) laughably short controller cord takes away a star. I think I've heard you can buy extensions, but you shouldn't have to.
Otherwise, for the price, this is awesome!

Will it work with iPhone 8?
No. This specific adaptor will not work with an iPhone 8 (that only has a lightning port and not a USB-C port. There is a version of this that will work with any phone (including an iPhone 8) that has a lightning port.
