As far as for data transfer speed it is more than acceptable (read and write). I was using it to play music in a car. It is a good size for handling. There are much smaller USB drives out there, but they can easily be lost and the smaller it is the more they heat up. And heat is not a good thing for long-term reliability. Writing to this USB drive at full speed I did not feel any heat buildup at all. I've had other units that have gotten so hot you could barely pick them up. The only negative (and thus the 4 star rating) is the locking cap. It is difficult to move from one position to the other. I tried opening and closing it numerous times thinking it might wear in, but that didn't help at all. So electronically it has been great, but the housing (sliding cover) could use some improvement.

I bought this as a short jumper extension cord to use on a 110V charger for my hybrid plug-in vehicle. I wanted a short cord that was still 12 gauge so as not to see any voltage drop. Most 12 gauge extension cords start at 25 feet in length and I only needed about 3 feet. It is of high quality. The cord's jacketing is extremely heavy yet very flexible. And it is staying flexible even in the cold temperatures. The connector and plug ends are of quality construction and fit. So far I have been impressed by the quality of this product and would buy this brand again if I needed more extension cords. I bought the bright yellow so it would easily be seen, but I believe it was also available in black. The price was also good for a 12 gauge cord.

Frozen Cells

The poor rating is not for the Energizer brand but for the delivery. The package was delivered on a really cold below zero day. The delivery service never rang my doorbell and I was home all day. I looked at my email hours later and it said it had been delivered so I looked for it. It had blown off the porch stoop. It was in a very small packing envelope, just slightly larger than the battery packaging. When I found the package I thawed the batteries out in the house. One of the two 9V cell cases appears to be slightly swollen. I measured the voltage across the terminals and it is not useable. The other cell is measuring a good cell voltage but there is no way to determine what it's long term reliability will be. I guess this is the chance you take when ordering something in the winter. I'm assuming the sub-zero temperature caused the damage in the one battery. In the past I've always had great success with Energizer batteries.

Extremely Good External SSD.

Fast, reliable, small package size, doesn't get hot, reasonable price, and has an actively light. This is the best external SSD I've used so far. I have only one complaint. It uses a USB-C ready cable and that is fine. However some devices still only have a USB-A connector. For the amount of money it should come with a USB-C to USB-A adapter. That is my only complaint, and I still give it 5 stars. That adapter probably costs a $1 to make, but when you want to buy it by itself, it sells for $10 or more. It should come with that adapter (and most other manufacturers supply it) to make it a perfect product.

This is the best keyboard I've ever typed on. The tactile feel is great. And the key activation setting does allow you to change the force needed to activate the keys. I would have been happy with just a white lit keyboard, but this RGB lighting is great. It has more adjustments then you could ever use, and the software is easy to use. The owners manual they provide you is worthless and printed out in 4 point font! You need to go online to get instructions. This is a very expensive keyboard (even though I got it on a good sale), but it is worth it. It is solidly built. You can store up to 5 different settings on the onboard memory. It's not as quiet as a membrane keyboard, but it is the least noisy of mechanical switches that I've heard. It looks like a keyboard you could have for years...

Keys have poor attachment mechanism.

This was the second Logitech keyboard I was giving a try. The base is solidly made, and the keys light up nicely. However the key attachment mechanism is a poor design and made of inferior plastic (Romer-G Switches). After only two days of typing, the shift key broke off. The plastic they use is very brittle. I am a light typist, so for it to go in just two days of typing is unbelievable. I have keyboards that are 15+ years old that have never given me a problem. The quality of Logitech products has really gone down. It was also fairly noisy although it is rated as being quiet.

This keyboard is a piece of junk. If you use the legs to prop the rear up, the whole keyboard flexes as you type on it. And every time I press the left SHIFT key, it puts the CAPS LOCK key on. I am surprised that Logitech would put out such a poor quality product.

I cant get the collar off of this product. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
You're not doing anything wrong. It is a good quality USB drive (electronically) but the housing (sliding cover) could use improvement. There is a detent that is supposed to keep it in either the closed or open position. That detent is too hard to get by. I found that squeezing it by the thin ends of the housing and then pushing it up or down can help to get the cap past that detent. Once I got mine to move I repeatedly opened and closed it (like 50 times) to try to wear that detent in. It didn't help. They just designed the detent wrong.
