The Panasonic DP-UB9000 is very well built. The front tray loading is very convenient and the overall picture and sound quality are excellent. The only consideration is whether this model is worth the extra ~$500 than the Panasonic UB820. Anyway, something to think about when evaluating 4k players.

yes i totally agreed that this 4K is very good video resolution, very picture... but anyone feel that audio just 5.1 and pretty soft? i keep the volumn as the same as i watched other 4K movies but the audio is so soft so i had to raise up the volumn!! Or is it my disk defected? thanks

I even took survey and talk on phone with agent couple years already about the issue that Bestbuy website havent show the audio format (Dolby Atmos or DTX...) in the specifications of the movies and up to now NOTHING improve at all. Bestbuy has Genre, subgenre, Title and many stupid things in this specification which we/customers dont even need to know, what we need is what kind of AUDIO format!!! Nowadays we all love the 4K video format with Dolby Vision, HDR... also Dolby Atmos, DTX ... but seems all customers comments just about the case, the movie story, the good video in 4K ... but rarely comment about AUDIO :(
I wonder why 4K disks always has the bluray 1080 included? If we love and have the 4K players then why 1080 disk still included for what? i never watch 1080 disk again. WHo knows why.. please help to advise?
