Finally got my hand on a GOTG SteelBook

As with the Captain America trilogy and the Iron Man Trilogy re-released in 4K and Steel, the Thor Trilogy deserved a re-release as well. It's good to have a uniform design (although the two Thor releases aren't as nice as the Captain America and Iron Man releases IMO).
Hoping Ragnarock gets released as well in this design motif, even if I have three SteelBooks for Ragnarock already (Domestic Best Buy exclusive, import 3D with the same artwork, and a premium import release).

Since the Captain America films were released in 4K SteelBooks. While I think the three Cap films are superior to the Iron Man films, I've was waiting and hoping for the films to be released in SteelBook form with the shared designs. Usually I don't wait to purchase SteelBooks as they usually sell out, but my patience rewarded. This Holiday 2019 season saw the prices drop to $14.99 each, AND a Buy 2 Get 1 free sale. As for the movies, the quality of the films follow the order of release: the first Iron Man is by far the best of the series, with Iron Man 2 and Iron Man 3 not as good as the first. I'd have to give IM3 a nod over IM2 because of the various Marks featured in the film.

Nice 4K issue of a classic

It's great to have this Kubrick classic in 4K. Anxiously awaiting the 4K release of Dr. Sleep to compliment this. Again, I am a SteelBook collector, so I will always go for the SteelBook version when available, but honestly, I like the Amaray are for this release better (the silhouette of Nicholson and the ax).
To be clear, the four star review is for the SteelBook art ONLY; the movie itself is a classic, and warrants FIVE stars.

Decent adaptation of King's novel

Let's face it, a faithful adaption of Stephen King's IT would have been IMPOSSIBLE to make. That said, the recent remakes (Part 1 and 2) were pretty good for what they were. Of course, several plot points from the movies were eliminated (mainly Pennywise's manipulation of Bev's husband), but this was still a good watch.
As far as the SteelBook itself, the cover art is decent; I would have liked if the SteelBooks for Parts 1 and 2 were similar; had the same design scheme.

I've been the Hue Play lights since they were first released, and the Best Buy Member pricing this holiday season was fantastic: $99.99 for the set AND a $50 gift card.
I have the Play lights set up behind my Samsung in my living room. Our living room suffers from lack of lighting; no walls lights, and I haven't found any floor lamps I like (EXCEPT the Hue Signe Floor Lamp...but pricey at $249.99!!!). We have some ambient light from our dining room (my home has an open floor lamp) but I was using a Hue Go to supplement the lighting.
My problem has been solved with the two Hue Plays. At the highest setting, they provide plenty of light.
Wish I had bought two sets when the sale was going on. :(

Love Philips Hue

I’ve been waiting to add more bulbs to my Philips Hue ecosystem; I previously had six bulbs and a Hue Go in my townhouse.
I had previously purchased a three build starter kit back in 2016, then added three more single bulbs when they were priced under $30 at Best Buy on Black Friday 2017. I was hoping for a repeat of this sale in 2018, but no dice. Well this Holiday Season, Best Buy Member Pricing had this set, which includes three color bulbs, a dimmer switch, and a Hue hub for $99.99. Though I didn’t need a second hub, this price for three bulbs and a dimmer switch was a no brainer.
I was mostly interested in the bulbs and thought the dimmer switch was a no brainer, but I have to say the dimmer switch is super useful. I have it installed in my master bedroom (it comes with adhesive, so no drilling was necessary). Previously I would have issues with my wife turning off the wall switch that controlled the outlet my two bulbs were plugged in to, so I couldn’t control them with the Hue app. Don’t have that problem anymore. And while my wife would be loathe to admit it, the dimmer switch (which is removable from the wall plate) has been super useful.
I should have bought a second set while it was priced at $99.99!!!

re-release of The Avengers: Age of Ultron. While Age of Ultron isn't as iconic as the first Avengers movie, it does a good job of advancing the MCU's ultimate story line.
Also, Captain America's costume is SO much better in Age of Ultron than his costume in The Avengers (yes, I'm aware that was Agent Coulson's point to have Cap's costume look old-fashioned).

Ever since Twilight was a huge financial success, studios have been trying to strike gold with movie adaptations of young adult novels: Percy Jackson, The Hunger Games, and the Maze Runner series.
The Scorch Trials is a decent continuation of the Maze Runner series. While not cinematic gold, it's worth a viewing.

Sorry if this question sounds silly. Would like to purchase this kit if I wanted to purchase say maybe 15-20 bulbs separately do i need another kit to control all the lights or what would I need to control them from room to room? Want a rgb smart home
I currently have nine bulbs, a Hue Go, and two Hue Plays set up to the same Hub. I’m not sure if there are any limits to the amount of bulbs you can link to it.
If money weren’t an issue, I’d outfit my entire home in the Hue Ecosystem. My dining room light has six candle bulbs. At the current price of $50 a pop, that’s too cost prohibitive! Would also like Hue bulbs in recessed lighting. Sigh...if only I was a millionaire (yep, millionaire not billionaire...I’m not greedy).
