We got this Pasta Roller Attachments accessory when we got our stand mixer. I love pasta and thought that making my own was a good idea. The attachment works OK, but getting the thickness of the dough before using the roller was a learning process. We made a large batch and stored most of the pasta and ate some - it was good.

It increases the efficiency of the blending of ingredients by scraping the sides of the mixing bowl as it beats, instead of having to stop and use a spatula to clear the mixture from the sides of the bowl.
