I was once an Samsung fan, but after purchasing this TV, I'm firmly in the LG camp now.
Great picture quality, brightness, and ease of use.
Built-in speakers are underwhelming, but for most TV's 50" and up, a soundbar is mandatory, and should be expected, no matter what brand.

Never tried the fancier, and more costly brands, but this is truly a full-motion mount, and in my opinion, who's going to care once the TV is mounted to it right?
In any case, it suits me just fine for my bedroom's 50" LG tv.
