This is the updated version of a backpack I did my level best to DESTROY about 20 years ago. After about five years of my abuse, I foolishly decided to move on to something else, and passed it on to a friend who was homeless. He lived out of it for two years, and it STILL persevered. I'm not sure what became of it after he got himself off the street.
I saw this for sale, and had to buy one, if only for nostalgia's sake. I'm pleased to report that nothing about it has diminished, and there even appear to be some added refinements.

Nice set, if you can get used to the quirky, 20th Century remote and the various WebOS nonsense, including a mind-numbingly tedious sign-in procedure, without which you can't effectively set the TV up. And their "customer service"? I think my use of quotation marks indicates how useful those irritating morons proved to be. I VERY NEARLY RETURNED THIS SET. Only the quality of the picture (and the fact that I'd already mounted it) led me to choose to keep it. This could have been a far better experience. Instead, I feel like LG failed me on a few levels. It may be a very long time before I buy another LG product.
