Pretty basic easy to use 1080p monitor. You can see shaffing, like letters and lines you see not straight lines but kind of not straight where it goes -_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_--_-__--__--__. It shows offward lines so it's not great, but it's good for basic use anyway.

Good but slow at video creation

No problems at all as a basic user. Although I must say that video apps are kind of slow to use on it. I used microsoft clipchamp to do some video and edit it and it was about a 15 minute video and it took clipchamp about 10 minutes to make the final MP4 file. But if you don't use video creation software or gaming, than it's a great computer.

I went in on Black Friday to purchase this TV for 249.99 along with an Xbox One X. I was debating whether or not to purchase this one or the Samsung 43" UHD 4K which was going for 299.99. When I asked the sales rep what he recommended he said "Samsung, you will hate the TCL its very low quality".
I compared the two and found that both are extremely similar in specs. The reason that I purchased the TCL over the Samsung is that this TV offers Dolby Digital which enhances the audio and picture quality for more vibrant and accurate colors.
Differences I noticed:
-TCL 5 Series offers Dolby Digital / Samsung UHD does not.
-TCL 5 Series HDR10 / Samsung UHD HDR10+
-TCL 5 Series 8W speakers / Samsung UHD 10W speakers.
-TCL 5 Series Dual-core processor / Samsung 4K UHD processing chip.
-TCL 5 Series offers Dolby Digital / Samsung UHD does not.
-TCL 5 Series HDR10 / Samsung UHD HDR10+
-TCL 5 Series 8W speakers / Samsung UHD 10W speakers.
-TCL 5 Series Dual-core processor / Samsung 4K UHD processing chip.
For a $50 dollar difference I didn't mind a slightly lower sound as I have this TV in my bedroom. I am not sure if the Samsung processing chip is better that the dual-core processor in the TCL, but I haven't noticed any lag or blur when playing games or watching video content.
My 4K games from my Xbox look absolutely amazing on this TV. While I'm sure that there are far more superior TVs on the market, I am truly impressed by the detail and picture quality that this has been providing for the price I paid.
**Just note that if you do purchase this TV for use on your Xbox One X, you will need to set the HDMI mode to 2.0 in the Settings on the TV. I was wondering why my Xbox was saying my TV wasn't compatible with several features, but once I changed the HDMI mode I had full compatibility.

I found the TCL 43S525 has better contrast, color ratio, and Dolby Vision. Dolby Vision is HDR12. Right now Amazon video and some other services support HDR12 dolby vision. Plus that the Samsung has edge lit meaning the edges of the TV have backlight. The TCL has direct lit meaning full back of TV lighting. Overall the TCL is better in those 4 details. Better contrast, better color, has dolby vision and has direct back light for better black levels. I studied this at rtings

Every single thing about this TCL 43S525 tv is awesome. Picture quality for the price is beyond superb. Audio seems good even though I don't really turn the built in speakers up very loud. Easy setup right from the get go with simple to figure out settings. As well as ease of use of the Roku UI and other apps which is a huge bonus if you don't want to deal with a lot of nonsense. The remote is nothing particularly special (having the volume controls on the side is slightly annoying) but still it does the job fine. Honestly I can't find much at all that I don't like about this tv. The 43" inch is perfect for my bedroom setup. The screen looks seriously huge and I'm glad I didn't go for the bigger 55" inch one which would have been overkill.
The tv was flawless out of the box (bought in store at local Best buy) with no damages and everything is working perfectly. I've only had the tv for a few days so I can't attest much to the longevity value, but for the moment I couldn't be any happier about my purchase. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for the best tv to buy in this price range.

Got back the wrong TV to review

In reviews like rtings the TCL got the 2nd best contrast, but it got the best color gamut, the best color accuracy, and the color uniformity. It's also the best at HDR gaming and HDR movies. It has direct back lit lights for the best black uniformity as well. Overall in tests it reaches the highest number of wins in categories. Setting up is super easy, it guides you through it all. Dolby Vision aka HDR12, HDR10, contrast, color! Great for video gaming!

Camera built in and it's really fast. No slow downs with SSD. No trouble at all so far. It's working like a charm. Windows start menu works fast, had some trouble with the internet, but little did I know I connect with my network and password it goes fast. I tried just straight ethernet and it was slow. It is going faster with secure password protection. I also love the new 20H2 Windows 10 update. Opening control panel to settings to file explorer, opening browsers, changing wallpaper background, it's all fast and easy to do.

I love this computer! Everything has worked flawlessly. I bought this on the flash sale for $2800 dollars! Such a great purchase. I will upgrade the ram at later date but for now it’s fine. I use this computer strictly for gaming and the 3080ti is awesome. I’ve had very stable frame rates and the gpu temps haven’t gone above 75 Celsius! If your looking at this computer it’s great value for what you get. Also the case looks better in person! Will post some pictures. What you see is what you get!

I bought a cyberpowerpc from microsoft and never got any display on monitor. I don't want that to happen again. Did you get display of Windows up right away after plugging the PC in and turning it on? Because I'm not a tech guy. I want it to just work right out of the box, plug it in.

I want to preface that I was given all the help possible from Best Buy and I really appreciate the effort given from the employees at my location, but this PC was a disaster. First time I ordered this PC everything looked great, the system looked clean, flashy, nice gpu, parts all looked correct and in solid fashion. Then once I downloaded my games everything went downhill... All of my games downloaded perfectly fine and were running smoothly and looking great, then the games kept freezing and shutting off. In an effort to resolve the problem I bought 16gbs of ram and swapped them out, which ended up making no difference at all. I ended up returning the system and we ordered a new one hoping that it was a rare case and the system was just faulty. This is where the second problem occurred. This time when I picked up the PC and brought it home, I opened a box with a bigger mess than before. The PC now had a dent in the top right corner, several plastic screws were broken within the system, the power cord wasn't even provided, and when I used another power cord I had laying around my office and plugged it in, the rgb on the fans didn't even work. I was very disappointed with this product and would not advise anyone to buy from cyberpower. I even tried to call the cyberpower tech support and was on hold for an hour just for them to tell me that I had to return the PC again. Bad experience overall.

I've dealt with PCs since 2005. Windows is the major problem. Doesn't matter if you buy CyberPower, iBuyPower, HP, Dell, Alienware, Lenovo, Asus, Acer, anyone else. Windows 10 code is leaked. Windows has given me errors for directx, errors on whatever, BSOD, BlackSOD, freezes, crashes, random restarts. After 18 years of using Windows PCs I'm done with them once and for all. Microsoft using the same code structure since the beginning of Windows 95 is just horrible. It's starting to show how bad x86, x64 Windows code structure is. Switch to Mac and finally you'll have a computer without all these errors and crashes. As a gamer I recommend sticking with consoles.

I bought this less than 20 days ago and pretty much the whole time it has frozen on me daily. On top of this, it takes such a long time to get to from power on to desktop, despite having an NVME SSD, compared to my 8 year old laptop that takes roughly 12 seconds. This thing is unacceptable, if you're going to buy a prebuilt, buy from a different company, seriously.

When you turn it to advance you can choose from one of the profiles created. If you want to make your own profile you will have to replace one of the original 4. I created my own FPS style, it's basically the same as there FPS style, but I disabled the back buttons. You can by making your custom profile with NA for the back buttons and anything else. You have to use Windows to use the software of course for it that it says to download. It's awesome.

Whats the difference from getting 1 month of xbox live gold & getting 12 months? 1 months worth comes out way cheaper if I buy it separately
No. Xbox Live was the cheapest under 12 months at only $60 dollars, however last year in 2020 Microsoft ended the 12 month subscriptions, but you can still get them through the 12 month cards in stores while they last. 3 month Xbox Live costs $24.99, take that 24.99 X 4 = $100 for the whole year. 1 month Xbox Live Gold costs $9.99. $9.99 X 12 = $120 dollars for an entire year of Xbox Live Gold. Therefore the 12 month $60 Xbox Live Gold cards are the cheapest way and can only get them in cards at stores until they go out of stock.

My son is wanting to use Franchise Mode on Madden 20.. does he need some sort of subscription to play?
You'll need to get EA access, it may include a fee. Within the game there is EA access panel. You can also subscribe to EA access online on the EA website.

IS THERE A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SERIES, IF SO HOW MUCH OF ONE. I am looking picture quality.
The Q60T has an excellent 9.3 out of 10 contrast score on rtings website. As the saying goes, contrast is the biggest thing for the best picture. However the Q70T model and up have slightly better contrast ratio. But the 43 inch Q60T is rated good for TV and sports according to rtings as well.

Does this tv have the 2.1 hdmi?
No it does not. Many sites have noted that only the Q70T, Q80T, and Q90T have HDMI 2.1. The 43 inch Q60T here does not have HDMI 2.1.

WHAT SIZE TABLE TOP IS REQUIRED FOR 49" TCL TV? LENGTH AND WIDTH??
I ran into the same question upon myself for the 43 inch I have. Now the TV is 43 inches across as it is diagonal. The stands put in it's about 39 inches length. So I could fit it on my 42 inch limit TV stand. The length of able hold is 40 inches so the TV stands fit on it for the TV to be stable. To answer your question it's the same kind of difference. 43 inch TV, 39 inch stand inputs length. 49 inch TV, 45 inch stand inputs length. Which means you need a stand to be at the very very least 46 inches so the TV stands aren't so close to the end of the table stand. All TCL TVs have the same kind of attachable stands to screw on them.
