I've been following Sonos (in general) for awhile.
This question gets asked A LOT!
As of this response, you can only use the sound calibration using an iPhone or an iPad (which is what I did).
Sonos states that it's because Apple makes consistent microphones in their phones and iPads.
Android based phones are manufactured with a wide range of microphone quality.
It really makes a noticeable "tweak" to the speaker (or speakers) sound quality within the room that they are in.
