The title of this LP says it all! Here is the "Kream" of Mississippi delta blues as interpreted by a slightly larger expansion of the Black Keys. Similar to their Chulahoma release which featured the core duo's affectionate turn on Junior Kimbraugh's body of work, the Black Keys dig into some of the grittiest delta mud ever laid down on vinyl. Some of their best work, and a nice return to the sound that first attracted me.

Double vinyl LP pressing. Eyes Open is the fourth studio album by Northern Irish-Scottish alternative rock band Snow Patrol. Produced by Jacknife Lee, it was released in May 2006. It was the band's first album without bassist Mark McClelland and the first to feature bassist Paul Wilson and keyboardist Tom Simpson. Recording for the album took place between October and December 2005 at Grouse Lodge Studios in Ireland, The Garage in Kent, and The Garden and Angel Recording Studios, both in London. Six singles were released from the album, including top 10 hits InchYou're All I HaveInch and InchChasing CarsInch, the latter of which came to worldwide attention when it was featured during the season 2 finale of the American medical drama Grey's Anatomy. It went on to sell over five million copies worldwide and has spent a total of 166 weeks on the UK Singles Chart, more than any other song in history. Scottish indie rockers Snow Patrol's Eyes Open is their fourth album and the first to be recognized significantly by U.S. audiences, primarily on the strength of the single "Chasing Cars". This is a nice re-issue of the 2006 release which finds the band at the top of their game. Nathan Connolly and front man Gary Lightbody's songwriting and performance is passionate without being sappy. Nice guitar hooks and gritty bass lines fill in all the right places and spaces making this a must own for anyone enamored with anthemic indie pop-rock.

Born to Run is the third studio album by the American singer-songwriter Bruce Springsteen. It was released on August 25, 1975 through Columbia Records.
