Not the full upgrade we all want but it is a nice addition. Coming from an OG Switch, the battery life and screen are quite a nice upgrade. Speakers sound good and the overall improvements make me want to play more undocked than I usually do. You also get 64gb of storage now instead of 32gb. Still not enough but its better than nothing. Overall its a 4/5 for me. Having a ethernet port on the new dock is a nice addition and the portable upgrades are awesome, but it still could use a better internal chip for 4k output and just overall frame rate improvements on more demanding games. The Tegra X1 is very outdated at this point but gets the job done for what it is worth

This is hands down the best thing you can buy to sync your entertainment to a lighting system that reacts and mimics it (Phillips hue). It makes movies and gaming so much more intense! Only downside is the lack of HDMI 2.1 support which means you can get the most of PS5 or Xbox Series X if you want to sync lights and run games at 4K 120. Small nitpick but since I have a TV that can do it, it’s a bummer that it can only do 4K 60. Won’t matter to most, but just needs to get HDMI 2.1 ports for future proofing and it’ll be 5 stars from me. But that requires a hardware revision, can’t just be updated by software
