Apocalypse Now is, without a doubt, one of the seminal works of Francis Ford Coppola. It is also a film that's very hard to watch because it portrays a horrific side of humanity, during the Vietnam war. I, however, consider it a must in any serious film collection. This version also includes the documentary Hearts of Darkness, which is as good, if not better than the movie. Highly recommende.

See, everybody is so ready to hate the latest Star Wars. Many people are looking at continuity issues, new forms that the force is used, etc. Honestly, this is the first time in the latest trilogy that I love the characters and I care about the story. That, in on itself, is fantastic. I enjoyed the movie and couldn't wait to get it on the 4K special edition Steelbook.

For years now, DC has been presenting amazing animated movies. I guess that not having the pressure of a film studio wanting you to make gazillions of dollars, you can actually tell a good story. A not to miss animation and a great conclusion to The Death of Superman.

This is a great film by Quentin Tarantino, but you have to be a really big Hollywood nerd to get all the details of the golden era of Film. However, even if you don't, and you enjoy good storytelling, you are going to enjoy this movie. 4K, to get the best quality of course.

The title to this review my be a little deceiving, this movie is more a Suspense Movie than a thriller, but thriller sounded better. If you haven't seen Knives Out you're missing on the best commercial movie of the decade. I'm not going to argue about its artistic value (though it has a lot), I'm mostly going to praise it for being a fun and exiting commercial movie. We don't get many of these that are not sequels, prequels or adaptations of content that was successful in other platforms. So this is a rarity of the best kind and you have to have it on the highest quality you can.
Writer/director Taika Waititi (director of THOR RAGNAROK and HUNT FOR THE WILDERPEOPLE) brings his signature style of humor and pathos to his latest film, JOJO RABBIT, a World War II satire that follows a lonely German boy (Roman Griffin Davis as Jojo) whose world view is turned upside down when he discovers his single mother (Scarlett Johansson) is hiding a young Jewish girl (Thomasin McKenzie) in their attic. In spite of his idiotic imaginary friend, Adolf Hitler (Waititi), Jojo confronts his blind nationalism.

I believe that there are few things that are more important than educating our children, to me, this movie reflects upon the effects that we have when we say things to our children. It also brings me a lot of hope for the future. Highly recommended. I only wish Best Buy had a Steelbook version.

I know that JOKER has inspired a lot of debate and controversy. I love the idea that a movie based on a comic book character can do so. For a long time, I thought only comics could cause such a reaction, and little by little movies have convinced me otherwise. JOKER is the epitome of this. The SteelBook version is one for the collection.

I know that a lot of people didn't like the sequel to the remake of Stephen Kings IT. I, however, did. The length of the film doesn't bother, me, in fact I think is necessary to explore these characters that we love so much. The acting is great. The only thing I didn't like was the de-aging of the children. I get it, they grew, but we would've forgiven it. As always Best Buy delivers a great version.

With all of the hubris surrounding the new version of IT (both chapters), a lot of people forget the original TV adaptation of the story. It was an incredible thing when it first came out. Amazing actors (including my favorite, the late John Ritter), a great story and a Pennywise that will forever be maniacal and evil. If not for the ending this would be the perfect miniseries (yes, even against The Stand). The steelbook version makes it irresistible.
Based on the popular graphic novel series, this hit AMC series focuses on a small group of survivors living in the wake of an unknown catastrophe that has revived the dead as Inchwalkers,Inch shambling, flesh-eating zombies. As the ragtag band, led by Southern lawman Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), makes their way across a walker-infested America, they soon discover that the dead may be the least of their problems. Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun, Chandler Riggs, Melissa McBride, Danai Gurira co-star.

Honestly, the 9th season of The Walking Dead, leaves a lot to be desired. However, I had to have it. I've been collecting this series since its inception, so I'm not going to stop now. I hope somebody likes it better than I did.
