I'll be honest this was my wife's choice when we ordered 5 movies to help get us through the stay-at-home orders. She remembered Mr. Rogers, while I'm pretty sure I never saw it. For her is was wonderful and nostalgic and for me it was wow, I never expected to enjoy this movie so much. I highly recommend one looks up the Esquire article on which the movie is based. It's a great read.

We thought the first hour or so of the movie dragged a bit, but then it picked up and came up with all the unexpected twists and turns we've come to expect from this franchise. It did a good job of wrapping up a nine movie series. The movie is 3 and a half stars. The product is excellent because of the bonus features, that are the best we've ever seen in a Blu-ray set. The excellent documentary is over 2 hours long and then there is more.

The movie was 5 star. Easy to see the best actress award in this performance. The extras were 1 star (no star actually). When you buy a Blu-ray in a box, you expect to get a decent amount of extra features to partly justify the cost versus just getting a digital download for a lot less money. This product comes with virtually no extras, a very short bit on how terrific Renee was (she was) and some still photos. Save your money and just get a digital download.

This review is based on the product received, not the movie. A sticker on the sleeve and the contents bar promised an extended cut with delete scenes not seen in Theaters. It was only available by download. Downloaded it and there was no extra version of the movie. Very disappointing.

I did finally find the extended version. Using Vudu, would not stream to my Samsung Smart TV. Continually restarted even in SD. Works OK and my computer. Not impressed by digital downloads.
