Do not work with molding

The contact sensors do not make a connection if your door has molding around it. I am working on my own solution but it seems Ring should have already figured this one out. Lots of postings on line with others having the same problem. If Ring is not responsive to something so basic makes me worry about the whole system.

I enjoy setting up new electronics but have found the alarm system to be a problem. First off the sensors for doors do not allow for a recessed door within a door frame. I have 3 homes of different ages and all three have molding around the doors. Really? Did someone at ring not try this out in a real home before selling. The problem is the magnet does not connect enough with the base to provide a connection so the doors always show as open. Yes I will find a way to fix myself but for this price a small additional base would be so easy to offer. Perhaps Ring will figure this out and improve their system.

I only gave four stars because there is a delay in answering the doorbell when someone rings it. However, that may be due to poor internet since we have Mediacom. Working on trying to fix that now. My ceiling light uses 3 bulbs. Will all three bulbs answer to the same command, or will I have to name each bulb individually and command all three to turn on/off and dim?
Each bulb will answer to a different command. You can set up a routine with Alexa that would include all 3 lights and then you tell Alexa the command like "give me light" or whatever phrase you want to think up. You would need 1 phrase to turn on and 1 to turn off. Once you set up a routine it is really very easy to do.

Only at Best Buy Feed any size family with this Insignia rice cooker. Its 5.2-quart capacity lets it cook large batches easily, and it automatically switches to a warm setting when it's done to keep rice at the proper serving temperature. This Insignia rice cooker comes with a removable steaming basket for preparing vegetables.
I can't find info as to how long it takes for rice to cook.
I believe it cooks for about 10 minutes. I have not cooked a larger portion yet but you do not need to enter a time......just select rice and it does the timing for you.

It is only the size of the watch band. My daughter has the small and my son in law has the large. The small does accommodate a fairly large wrist. My son in law was able to wear my daughters watch for awhile but it was tight and the band broke after a couple of weeks.
