I preordered (switched to shipping after in store pickup debacle) and have loved it since day 1. This product has a target audience in mind and I fit that bill.
My console is in the family room and not always accessible to me. The Portal allows me to jump in to any game while my kids or wife are using the main tv. That’s it. That’s what this does. I can play when I want to play. The screen is crisp and looks great for an LCD screen. Single player games run extremely well with practically no input lag. If you play competitive FPS, there is a slight delay that may not yield the best experience.
Initial setup was a breeze though I did get some connection issues when connecting to 2.4ghz. A little tinkering with my network settings and those issues were gone. Note, if you have multiple connected devices, it’s highly recommended to set up QoS or move low priority devices off the 5ghz band.
I have used it outside of my house and it works just as well as if I were home. I have had multiple people connect to their consoles on my Portal and it’s just like signing in to the app and they were off to the races.

Excellent sound for gaming buds with minor quirks.

I want to give them 5 stars. I really do. I used these exclusively for gaming sessions where I needed to hear my games as I’m accustomed to but also needed to pay attention to my surroundings. (Kids & Wife).
First and foremost, they sound phenomenal. Sounds come through crisp and clear and the bass does not drown anything out and gives a clean experience. They do not have ANC but I knew that going in. I really enjoy the fact that I can remove one at a time as needed and not skip a beat in the game audio.
The fit takes a little getting used to. Try the different tips. The ones that come installed hurt a little after prolonged use but once I found a better tip,
Battery life is good. They last about 4-5 hours but charge very quickly.
My one issue is that they seem to catch a lot of interference when plugged in to the back of the PS5 and would randomly disconnect and reconnect. Moving the dongle to the front made it a little better but my kids would constantly remove it and was a no go for me. They work perfectly fine on the Portal so no issues there.
Overall, if you have the extra money, don’t prefer over the ear headsets, or don’t have another gaming headset, these are great buy. If you have something like Astros or H9’s, unless you’re looking specifically for buds, I wouldn’t recommend.

Good build quality. They felt flimsy at first but the more I use them, the more I see that are built to last. My 7 year old uses them for hours at a time and probably has to charge once a week. The sound quality is well worth it. Bluetooth pairing to additional devices is nice to have but they are big.

When my child is traveling with me or spend an over the night visit, will he be able to excess his downloaded games on the Psp 5 handheld if the PSP 5 console game is not present.
Yes he will however, he (or you) would need to ensure his console at home is connected to the internet and remote play is enabled on the home console. As long as the console at home is in rest mode (not fully powered off), he will be able to connect to it via the Portal provided there is WiFi wherever he is visiting.

My question is this. I have a ps5 at home digitally and it's not working rn. If I buy this ps portal am I able to play my downloaded games that were on my ps5 without any issues. And are you able to buy games on the portal if it has ps store?
Depends on what you mean by not working. If the console can power on, connect to the internet, and your remote play settings are turned on, the portal can connect and you’ll be good. All the portal does is stream the PS5 to the Portal instead of your TV. If the console does not power on, no since the Portal is not its own console, just a mirror of your PS5.
