I've heard about Clark Gable and Marilyn Monroe's last film for quite a long time. It has always been fairly pricey and hard to find in stores. Finding it in the bargain bin at Best buy I couldn't refuse. This is an oddly dark comedic film that has a lot to say and in hindsight reflects Marilyn Monroe's life. That is if you are looking for art imitating life. All great performances here. Marilyn, Clark & Montgomery should have been proud of what they've done here. Beautiful Blu-ray with decent extras. Recommend.

My favorite Marilyn Monroe film is 'Some like it Hot.' Researching the film I found the director Billy Wilder has quite a film resume. This film has been recommended viewing for ages. Finally found it in the bargain bin at Best buy and had to pick it up. Great film with a darkly comedic premise that is still relevant today. Great quality Blu-ray with decent extras. Peanuts has always been a staple of so many childhoods for many decades but has lost its way over time. This extremely faithful iteration in the peanuts 'saga' feels like coming home again. Nothing has really changed and it's all the better for it. Managing the same feelings one felt watching the original incarnation of Peanuts is no small task. The beautiful picture and 3D really add to this package. Extremely recommended! Hopefully we don't have to wait decades to see more advances of Charlie Brown.
