Great Drone for the money. I have a Mavic Pro and I use this more since its so compact and fits in my pack. (and costs less than half of my Mavic, so im not worries as much to break it.)

Get rid of wireless dead zones in your home or office network with this NETGEAR AC750 dual-band Wi-Fi range extender. Internet speeds of up to 750 Mbps ensure a fast connection and compatibility with any standard Wi-Fi router. Ideal for HD video streaming or gaming. Gain the connectivity you need for tablets, smartphones, laptops and more.

Does require a device to connect to a new and differently named network once it is out of range of the original Wi-Fi network? Does it really extend the router's signal or create a secondary Wi-Fi area?

It creates secondary wifi, my case it uses the name (*****5g and adds ext to end - *****5g_ext) i use same password, but can create a new one if you wanted
