This movie is the most BROGASMIC movie one can ever see. I avoided seeing this movie for 12 years because the clips made it look so cheesy and boy was I right. My first introduction to the Spartans and the Battle of Thermopylae was from the book "The Gates of Fire" and I really enjoyed the story of the battle and the second Persian invasion of Greece.

Not going to lie the ending to this movie is a little bit weird but you'll enjoy the lead up to it. The 4k version is a must have because this movie is full of beautiful scenery. As far as the Steelbook I had to buy it because I couldn't stand the art on the slipcover version.
