Did what it was supposed to for a while. After about a year, the speaker stopped working, but the unit was still powered on. I opened it up, and saw that the wires inside had gotten rusty, and separated from the circuit board. I found this strange, since this was supposed to be made to get wet. I soldered some new wires in place, and it worked for a couple months longer, until it got dropped. Just threw it away at that point, and bought a Bluetooth shower head speaker, (highly recommended!). Gave it 2 stars bc it worked for about a year, and it was cheap. Don’t waste your $ tho.

Was having weak internet, and buffering issues, from being too far away from my old router. After much research, (and a convenient BB sale price), I decided to go with the velop system...and am not disappointed! We average 15-20 devices connected at any given time, and exclusively stream tv, and have not had a single buffering moment since hooking this up. It even gives you the option to prioritize up to 3 devices, so if there’s a lot of bandwidth being used, you can make sure you don’t have lag while gaming, or streaming.
Highly recommended for many devices, very large coverage, and reliability.

How many devices will this handle? We have a smart home with about 35 total devices including laptops, apple tablets and phones, dish tv’s, smart plug and lights, security system, thermostats. Need a stable system as our net gear 7000 crashes.
I have a similar situation at home, and this system has been awesome! We average about 20, but have had up to 40 at once, and haven’t had an issue yet. Used to deal with buffering constantly when streaming tv, but has completely disappeared since getting this. It also gives you the option to prioritize up to 3 devices, so you can give the extra bandwidth boost to needed devices, and then switch it to another device, if needed. how would i set up one for all remote to work with the Amazon Fire Stick tv
They are, unfortunately, two different technologies. Fire stick uses RF, (radio frequency), and one for all is a infrared remote, as are 99% of them. The workaround to this tho...is if you have a smart tv, you can turn on the cec, and pair the fire stick. Now the tv remote will control it, aka the one for all. It lags a bit, and isn’t nearly as fast or smooth as the amazon remote, but it does work.
