Gave as a gift to someone who was thrilled to get. Very convenient to have all in one set, instead of the multiple volumes it used to be sold as. And much less expensive as well. Very violent and bloody but an excellent anime series. After watching the series, do your a favor and watch the abridged version by team fourstar on YouTube. It’s excellent. Now I’m going to a very enthusiastic walk.

Don’t get me wrong, I like Kelly’s Heroes. I think it’s a fun imaginative movie. But I consider it a bonus to the real reason I bought this. Where Eagles Dare is one of my favorite movies. The cast, story, cinematography are all top notch. Tons of action. Might be Clint Eastwood’s highest body count. But it’s ok, they’re (the bad guys you apparently can’t name anymore)Richard Burton is great as guy whom seems to have any situation well in hand. A great movie. High recommend you see it.

The best decade ever (the 80s, no argument is possible) started when this movie came out.
It is a Glorious space opera in the grandest sense. Stunning visuals and great characters. The soundtrack by legendary rock band Queen is worth the price of admission alone. If you haven’t seen this movie, see it! If they make a remake, still just see this one! I’m so glad that I have this movie in my collection.
