They Usually Get More Intimate With Our Main Characters & Breakfast Club Is No Exception. The Cast Is Fantastic Across The Board, Covering Every Click You Probably Experienced Yourself In High School. John Hughes Really Gets Into The Meat & Bones Of What Goes On In The Mind Of A Young Person Going Through Their Adolescence. Everybody Delivers With Laughter & Tears While Being Constantly Challenged By Their Superior, Richard Vernon. Paul Gleason Is A Great Foil For Our Struggling Youngsters & Gives A Tour De Force Performance With Iconic Dialogue For Years To Come. Familiar John Hughes Yes, But With A Real Feel & Emotion More Than Most Ever Tackled. You’ll Thrust Your Fist In The Air John Bender Style By The End Of This Film. A Must See!

Had No Expectations For This Film & Came Out Pleasantly Surprised. Margot Robbie Owns The Screen & Has Fully Embodied This Character Since Her First Portrayal In Suicide Squad. The Movie Says Birds Of Prey, But Really It’s A Story About What She’s Up To Now & The Women Of Gotham She Encounters Told Through Her Perspective. All Supporting Cast Are Great & By The End Leave You Wanting More. The Standout For Me However Is Ewan McGregor's Black Mask. He’s Flamboyant, Deranged, Sadistic, But So Much Fun To Watch. I Love That This Isn’t A Big World Ending Movie. It’s Just A Film About Women Being Emancipated, Dealing With It & Teaming Up With A Common Interest To Save The Day.

Unfortunately That’s The Best Part Of This Sequel, Because The Earth Elements Are Doubled Down On & Sillier Than Before, While Also Delivering A One Note, Forgettable Villain. I Think The Visuals & Art Direction Improve In This Film & The Sci-Fi/Mythology Are Embraced More, But Story, Relationships & Characters Fall Flat & Leave Little Want Of More...Until Taika Changed It Up In Ragnarok! Hemsworth Takes Charge & Makes You Believe The God Of Thunder Exists, While Hiddleston’s Loki Manipulates With Such Charm & Conviction In Every Scene. Everything On Asgard From Mythology To Character Are Handled Wonderfully. The Family Dynamic Between Father & Sons Is Shakespeare & Classically Handled. The Elements On Earth Are Not My Favorite, Which Stops This From Being A Great Film For Me. But Overall It Is Worth A Watch, Especially If You’re A Marvel Fan!
