I bought the DVD player mainly to view Movies.. I have it wire to my smart TV with an HDMI cable... As for its Wi Fi... features I don't think I need them because of the my New Smart TV... Only time will tell But I'm very Happy with LG products and will purchase more in the future..
Watch your favorite shows with this 50-inch LG TV. Its 4K resolution and active HDR technology provide a crisp, clear picture with improved contrast so colors look vivid, and the ThinQ AI system has Google Home and Amazon Echo compatibility for controlling functions via voice commands. This LG TV has a slim structure, making it suitable for cozy spaces.

At first I was very frustrated figuring out how to operate the TV and all the set up menus . Smart TV's are just as much trouble as a smart phone. I grew up with a Black and White TV and a party line rotary telephone. BUT I finally got the system up and running at 50% and with hope and some help from my young daughter i'm expecting to be at a 100 % by next year. The operators manual had to be down loaded from the internet...which turned out to be almost useless. All that being said, I do like the TV and will buy other LG products in the future.
Oliver Stone's autobiographical Oscar-winning look at the Vietnam war comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1. A closed-captioned English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1, while a Spanish soundtrack has been recorded in Dolby Digital Surround. Spanish and French subtitles are accessible. Supplemental features include a collectible booklet and the original theatrical trailer. This release will satisfy anyone who simply wants to own the film, but those looking for a deeper exploration of the film should check out the special edition DVD as it contains a wealth of extra material.
