I love Tom Hanks! What more can I say. He doesn't make a bad movie. I wanted to have this movie in our collection so that when our grandkids get a little older we can share it with them.

Our daughter used to play baseball and softball and we loved this movie. Now that she has little boys, I bought it to show them when they get a little older. It's just a very good movie!

My grandson liked this movie so much, he was Oogie Boogie for Halloween. Another one of his favorites when he comes to our house.

I remember this movie from when my kids were young and now my grandsons like to watch it too. I only had the VHS so I needed the DVD. It's great. They love the part in the chocolate factory the best.

One of my favorites as a kid

I remember Ichabod Crane as a kid and loved the headless horseman part. It scared me as a kid. I am glad I got it but I got it mainly to share with the grandkids. It isn't quite as action packed as kids want these days but I still liked it. It is combined with Mr. Toad. I don't remember that one but it is also cute.

Never read the book, never saw the movie

I knew my children read the book in school but didn't know the story line. Now that they have children, I bought the movie for them. When we watched it, I got the story but I think my grandsons were still a little too young to get the whole part about the pigs not surviving and being the food on the table, they just liked the animals in the barn.

Sweet old movie

To tell the truth, I secretly bought this for myself, since I love the song "Somewhere out there". But now that I have grandchildren, it really is for them. A little bit scary, a little bit sad for the young ones but they still liked it. And it ends well.

When my children were young we saw this movie, now that they have children of their own, I bought it for the Grand children. Two boys who love dinosaurs. We watched it yesterday and they loved it.

Does Spectrum cable lower the volume when connected to Samsung TVs? I have normal volume when I am watching Netflix or Prime, but It is not uncommon to need 70-100 volume range when watching cable.

Sorry we were away for Thanksgiving. WE don't have Spectrum, but I did notice that I have to have the volume up pretty high, just to hear it. MY hubby wears hearing aids. The commercials are higher, I did notice, just like they used to do. I can have the sound up to just over 50 when we are sitting in the dining room, just to hear what is said.
Since we just got it, we are hoping our son in law, who wants to play around with it can do something good with it. When I get it up to 50 or so, it still sound ok, when I come to sit down and listen to it. Hope that helped.
