I've seen this movie a dozen times in standard definition (DVD). I made the jump to 4k Blu-Ray and this film has never looked better! The nuances of Andy Serkis as Kong really come through as the colors and textures of this release push the look of the film into an arena of verisimilitude. My heart was pounding during the action (the sound is also great) and my eyes were welling up during the emotional moments, even while watching for the upteenth time- this movie and this release are that great.
The disc includes the Extended Edition of Kong (definitely on the 4k and I think the regular Blu-Ray) which adds some length to the behemoth runtime but the scenes are mostly action so I'd recommend investing the time if you want more fun visuals. There's tons of bonus material here which was included on the DVD Extended version, I didn't sift through it this time but I remember there was probably 9-12 hours worth of bonus, typical for Peter Jackson releases; for cinephiles who enjoy delving into the extensive detail of film-production.

The best disc option for fans of the Hulk

This may not be the best Marvel film of the cinematic saga, but it's one I enjoy because of my love of all things Hulk. The movie looks fantastic on 4k and there is a wealth of supplemental features, more so than what you would find on your typical MCU disc (this is a Universal release technically). If you like the movie, this is a must grab as it's usually available at lower than average prices for 4k.

I watched the 4k versions and they all look fantastic! Tons of great special features (though some are carryovers from other blu-ray and dvd versions) which were numerous though I feel they could be more extensive. I can't say enough that all 4 movies have never looked better than they do in 4k UHD, the original especially benefiting from the upgrade. A must own for any Jurassic Park fan with a 4k package.

I'm mostly a fan of the Raimi flicks but I appreciate the inclusion of the Webb ones for completeness. Several hours of bonus material including an alternate version of Spiderman 3, not too different but worth a look for fans. Movies look great in 4k!

I love Infinity War, such a great culmination of all the Marvel films before it. It has everything I want in an epic and begins to sunset the initial Marvel heroes in a proper sendoff. Only giving it 4 stars because I feel Marvel regularly skimps on the bonus features and the audio must be turned up loud to hear dialogue; I've heard Disney has a habit of dampening the sound for their family audiences.
