A Basic IPad Suited to Basic Needs and Beyond

I previously had the iPad 6th generation and upgraded to this one. Now to put it in brief, this one is the same in many ways but has some key updates.
First off, the processor. It went from A10 to A12 between those models which suits me just fine to keep up with iPadOS updates that Apple may distribute over the coming years. That and it should be better for video and photo editing.
Second, the connection pins. My previous iPad did not have those while the 7th generation did but it had the same processor so upgrading just for that was not worth it. With those, I can connect to the Smart Keyboard to avoid worrying over charging a bluetooth keyboard.
Third, the charger. My previous iPad had a 12W charger so a complaint I had was recharging could take a while but Apple upgraded it with this model to a 20W charger in the box.
Granted, this review is written from the perspective of someone who mainly uses it for notes, emails, video watching as opposed to heavy duty. But if you want a relatively cheap entry into Apple’s ecosystem with power to carry you into the future, this would be a way to go through maybe go with 128gb since 32 can fill up quickly.
P.S. This is written as someone who appreciates the open flexibility of the Android OS but sort of Samsung the tablet market for Android is dead these days as far as quality goes, for the most part while Amazon’s lack that characteristic freedom or require out of the box methods to enable it.

Revisit the original Dreamcast series that launched an action RPG empire with Shenmue I & II for PlayStation 4. An updated user interface provides streamlined gaming experiences, and a choice of modern or classic controls lets you decide how to experience each adventure. Arcade games, duck racing and a host of side activities deliver a break from the game. Shenmue I & II includes faithful recreations of both Hong Kong and Japan for retro-inspired fun.

My friend wanted this as a gift before Shenmue's 3 release to experience these "classics.". The value was alright but he got bored of it so unless you know you loved these back in the day, probably better games you can spend your hard earned money on.

Archaic Fire Emblem, Modern Pressntation

A swansong of sorts for the 3ds. Shadows of Valentia ups the ante with improved graphics, art style, combat animations from prior entries and nearly full voice acting. This allows greater immersion in the tale the game tells.
There are fewer support conversations between characters than prior titles but the voice acting partly makes up for it. Character customization is more linear than other entries so that could be a con and the post-story dungeon seems designed to encourage use of dlc.
Otherwise, a great story and one that I have replayed a time or two. An archetypal story of a boy meeting his unknown destiny, perhaps, but between that and many main villains having resentments you can sympathize with via their voice acting, etc, the game takes you for a ride.

So, in brief, this is Ace Combat...a great casual flying combat simulator. In my case, I got it inexpensively via a gift card and promotional coupon so worth it. The multiplayer was there but a bit barebones in mode selection while the story presentation was good but with not many characters to latch onto in the long-term given the story sends your protagonist all over the place.
So if you want a good solo experience, this is for you. Otherwise, think a bit more carefully.
