This is a required piece, one of the two pieces don't seem to be kept in stock, but are readily available. The fact one piece had to be ordered did not delay the installation.

Not sure about this other than it is a required piece to make the rest of the antenna adapter work. It works great!!

I was a bit worried when I looked up reviews that said this does not give good quality reception for Sirius XM radios. I live in rural AZ and travel from Southern AZ to North East AZ and do not lose any reception at all!!!

Have your new SiriusXM tuner installed neatly, reliably, and professionally by a Geek Squad Autotech. A SiriusXM satellite radio-ready stereo is not included but is required. Deck installation is sold separately. Satellite radio subscription required. Please consult with a Geek Squad Autotech at your local Best Buy store for more information. Standard installation does not include vehicle-specific parts or accessories. The cost of parts will vary. Such parts and any additional parts or extensive labor are extra. Your Geek Squad Autotech will provide an estimate prior to performing work that requires an additional charge (including nonstandard installation) and any additional parts. Any additional charges will be assessed after the installation is complete. For additional installation information for your vehicle, find a store with an installation center and speak with a Geek Squad Autotech.

Geek Squad installed my FM antenna quickly

I needed an FM antenna for my Sirius XM radio, the technician was courteous and fast! My husband had attempted installation, but was stumped when there was no aux plug. The Geek Squad member was very nice and knew what he was doing. It only took an hour to complete the job.

This looks like I need to be able to reach my antenna plug on the back of my car radio. I am not able to do that. How does this connect?

You do have to go in through the back of the radio, this is why we chose to go with Geek Squad. It was inexpensive and barely took an hour to complete!!
