I absolutely loved this movie movie when it first came out. I was 10 years old. I love it just as much 35 years later on Blu Ray. The transfer to Blu Ray isn't the greatest, but this 80s gem does look better than ever!!!

80s Greatness

I saw this movie when it first came out. I was 12 years old. When I saw it was available on Blu Ray, I couldn't resist buying it. I honestly think I enjoyed it as much now at the age of 45 as when I originally saw it in the theater. Lou Gossett, Chuck Norris and Melody Anderson make a great trio in this thrilling treasure hunt movie. I thought the transfer to Blu Ray was very well done.

I was a little too young to be allowed to see this when it originally aired in 1983. Now that I'm in my 40s and it's on Blu Ray, I figured it was about time. A fictional account of the Soviet Union and the United States launching nuclear weapons and the terror and mayhem that ensues. The Blu Ray transfer was very well done and I must say...it was definitely worth the wait.

The French Connection was voted one of AFI's 100 greatest films of all time and I would have to agree. Roy Scheider and Gene Hackman are sensational. The New York City of the 1970s is a stunning backdrop to this amazing film. It also contains one of the greatest and hair raising chase scenes of all time. How often do you get to see a police officer in a car chasing after a train/subway that's traveling above him? Not very often. A top notch Blu Ray transfer makes this classic a must own!

This beautiful film is about a man who is on a journey to deliver the last remaining Bible to an undisclosed location and will stop at nothing to finish his journey. Denzel and the rest of the cast are all spectacular in their roles. Lots of action, a beautiful story and a top notch Blu Ray transfer makes this film a must own.

This review is for the Blu Ray transfer alone. The Greatest Story Ever Told is one of the most beautiful, well done films of all time. Unfortunately, the Blu Ray transfer is atrocious. There is so much grain, that at times the film is unwatchable. If you own the DVD, keep it. If you've never seen this beautiful film, seek out the DVD. This Blu Ray is horrible.

Saturday Night Fever is not only a classic 70s film, but one of the all time greats. The film that made Travolta a superstar. Great soundtrack along with a story of young people becoming adults makes this a must see. The Blu Ray transfer is stunning!!!
