Great Value for the money. Currently using this receiver with my Sony X900H and it's amazing! This is in a 5.1.2 configuration with Klipsch reference series speakers and sub. Support Dobly Vision and ATMOS. Sounds amazing. I placed the receiver in my server rack and have many multiple devices to HDMI passthrough and never have any issues switching inputs. Highly recommend!

Can connect wireless speakers to the sony str dn1080. I think I read that this AV receives but does not transmit. If not can I connect some kind seperate transmitter to the av then hook up speakers? Right now, I have pair of sony srs zr5 speakers

Will the eArc on this receiver allow me to connect to an external soundbar (probably the Sonos Arc) to get surround sound? I have a projector and am looking to keep the majority of my current Sonos system, was hoping this would work.

can i connect the wifi to prime time or hbomax etc? and have 5.1 surround sound for their movies? or only to radio format stations.
I don't understand the question but I will try to the best of my understanding. This receiver should be connected to the ARC/EARC on your TV. You also need to make in your TV settings that you will passthrough sound to external speakers. Whatever is connected through HDMI passthrough on the receiver or the TV plays through the receiver. This is the best way of utilizing the receiver. I use a myriad of devices i.e. ATV4K, NVIDIA Shield Pro 4K, PS4, PS5, XBOX One X, XBOX Series X etc...

This card is compatible with all systems. Now with that being said, depending on the CPU this card might be bottlenecked due to less allowance of bandwidth through a smaller number of PCI lanes from the CPU. For example I would not pair this card with any pentium or celeron.
