If your child has Pokemon Sun or Moon this is a important character. My daughter plays with all of her Pokemon and this has become part of her normal routine. Only issue I had was the plastic has a odd smell. Had to frebreze it several times and wipe it down to mask the odor.

I purchased one for myself and rotate my controllers thru so that I'm always powered up. I have 4 controllers total. I recently purchased one for my son who had received his own system. He was always playing is games connected to the power charger as systems wont charge controllers when off.
Now that he has a charger he can sit back and actually enjoy the wireless function.

This was purchased for the whole family and it was a huge hit. Switch is known to have a lot of games that can be played in groups which is great as I have three kids and friends/family that come over often. With classic games like the Mario series all ages can play.

Yes you can but make sure you don't have a game that needs to constantly be attached to WiFi. Most games don't have to be.
