You are doing yourself a real disservice seeing this movie if you haven't at least watched the first (3) Avengers movies before. Also, there's a LOT going on the various sub-plots, so you should plan to see this one at least twice.
Overall, I really enjoyed this film.

The original Iron Man as portrayed in the comics appeared in the 1960's. This movie is a reasonably close adaption of the comic "origin of" Iron Man tale, adapted for the 21st century. There is excellent pacing and casting in this movie, and it is a foundational must-see for anyone who plans to view the entire Avengers arc.

If you're new to the Marvel Universe, this is one of the first movies you should treat yourself to...Cap is a foundational character to many of the successor films and indispensable to the Avengers story arc. If not, this movie is just a lot of fun for comics fans and can be seen again and again, with new twists popping up each time.

If you have the opportunity, it's best to see the first movie before viewing this one. The special effects are 4.5 on a scale of 5, but the story line will keep you engaged and entertained throughout. The creators at Marvel Studios continue to crank out the hits.

Excellent special effects, outstanding character development of Stephen Strange ( self-absorbed surgeon becomes heroic wizard). This movie is must-see prelude to Avenger's Endgame. A pure thrill ride...I highly recommend.

Outstanding continuation of an exemplary storyline

Top-shelf character development, especially of Hank, Dr. X and Magneto. I'd suggest viewing this movie after you've seen at least " 1st Class" & "Apocalypse", otherwise a lot of the subtle but insightful details won't make sense to you.
