Plenty of action in this western with two great actors in Lancaster and Marvin. Robert Ryan has a strong supporting role. Great scenery in the desert and lots of gun play. I thoroughly enjoyed it, I hadn't watched it in years.

Sam Peckinpah with James Coburn is a magnificent combination! Cross of Iron is a tremendous World War II film, few equal it. Coburn's performance is terrific. The action scenes are great and how many movies can boast they used actual T-34 Russian tanks? Maximillian Schell and James Mason give great performances also. A truly one of a kind movie.

A good western with Gregory Peck who delivers his usual great performance. The movie shows the racism of the day against Indians and has good action. The cast all does a good job of acting. I remember many westerns from my youth but not this one.

This is a great movie! From the acting to the scenery, it is a great movie! I really liked the concept of showing the small towns in Texas and their plight as well as the plight of the Comanches through the observations of the Native American Texas Ranger. The playful interaction between the Texas Rangers and the two bank robber brothers added a level of real humanity that a lot of movies don't achieve. The action scenes were good, I was very impressed with this movie.

As time goes by this movie has grown on me. While always a good movie, the more I watch it the better it gets. The supporting cast is spectacular, Robert Duvall and Don Stroud, John Saxon, to me it is a little known classic. The sniper scene with Clint is great!!!

Burt Lancaster gives a great performance in this action-packed western full of twists and turns. The dry humor is delivered without pretense, you have to be paying attention or you will miss it. With Telly Savalas this is a really good western!!!
