A decent movie

This movie was good but way too slow in places for me. The beginning about the Battle of the Crater was great, and the actions of the local militia were interesting but it would have been better with more action. A decent movie but not good, certainly not great!

This movie in many ways reminded me of the movie Battleground. The quick wit and fast delivery of lines with solid acting, the two movies are similar. William Holden did a great job as the lead actor, there aren't actors today who could stay with him. A great movie and one I would highly recommend!

A little known gem!!!

This little known movie is a really good movie that did not receive much attention when it was released in 1978. With lots of little known actors, Burt Lancaster is naturally the center piece of this movie about the Vietnam conflict. Set very early in the war, the only thing holding this movie back was the limited budget. It has Burt Lancaster so you need to watch it.

This eerie western could be Clint's best western, or possibly his bests movie period!!! With plenty of action, Clint keeps everyone guessing as to his motives or who he is, and he also keeps the viewer guessing as to whether he is real or not. Not your typical Western, this one is definitely a must see!!!

This is a good early World War II movie, could be the first movie with the obligatory Southerner in the platoon. A lot of stars who weave a good story about Bastogne during the Battle of the Bulge. That's for sure, that's for dang sure!!!

One of my favorite westerns, it depicts Indians in a positive light, you see there strategy and their methods are halfway explained. James Garner, Dennis Weaver, and Sidney Poitier are three aces too! To me it was just a really good movie and the soundtrack is very unique!!!
