There are no subtitles, but the soundtrack is closed-captioned. There are no supplemental materials of any consequence. This Disney/Buena/Vista release is difficult to recommend to anyone other than a person on the lookout for family-friendly entertainment.

The widescreen anamorphic transfer preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1, and is preferable to the standard full-frame image. The English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1. English subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include a behind-the-scenes featurette hosted by star Lindsay Lohan, two alternate endings with an introduction by director Mark Waters, a pair of music videos, and a blooper reel. For those interested in the best possible home theater sound and picture quality, the disc does offer a THX optimizer. This is a solid release from Disney.

A closed-captioned English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1, while Spanish and French soundtracks have been recorded in Dolby Digital Stereo. English and Dutch subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include theatrical trailers. This film proved to be popular with young children, precisely the same people who will be attracted to this disc.
