I will keep this short and give ya’ll… 2 pointers! The 1st is… if you haven’t played the 1st Horizon Zero Dawn…. You have missed out on an amazing game and need to play it before getting into The Forbidden West! Because the story is that good that you need to know the origins! About Forbidden West though!!!! I am so happy with 98% of it, I will play this a few times over! The 1 thing I was disappointed with was the melee combat! But other than that… everything else builds on so much bigger and better than the original game. So again, short and sweet! Play this game!!!!!!

I bought this movie because it has the directors cut! I had watched this movie about 3 times before I purchased this one and I am so happy to actually see what the director wanted us to experience. I hate that Hollywood cuts movies short, because they think the public won’t watch a movie longer than 2 hours! Other than a lot of packing to get through (which is not a bad thing) they are very happy with my Christmas gift. My dad wiped it down and hooked it up and now has his 2017 and 2018 collection of wine resting at 60 degrees. I hope to have a collection like his one day!

I wanted to get the WD with the built in Heatsink, but I found this one on sale! So I went ahead and purchased it and also purchased a compatible heatsink on Amazon. I am so content I did, because not only did I SAVE money, I now can switch back and forth between about 25 games without having to delete and then upload a new game and then wait anywhere from 15 minutes to 1 hour for the game to download (depending on the size of the game). I was lucky enough to get disk driven PS5, but if you own a digital PS5! You need to upgrade your memory! Not only can you keep keep a ton of games available to you at the touch of your controller, you won’t need to to wait while you download another game (external SSDs still need downloading). Don’t be afraid of installing as it is very easy and you won’t damage your PS5 (as long as you follow directions). I am definitely very satisfied after upgrading my SSD memory, I hope you are too!

LG OLED for PS5

If you want one of the best picture quality for your PS5, look no further than the LG CX or C1 OLED! The graphics look amazing and you get 4!!!! 2.1 HDMI ports which are needed to get the full potential out of your PS5. Not only do you get the 2.1 HDMI ports but you also get a TV that will do 120hz refresh rate (that can push 60fps too!). It’s also gives you VRR (when Sony updates the PS5 to offer it, yet to happen.) But after a 1 year of playing on PS5 with the LG CX OLED, I can honestly say I made the right decision. Not only does it look amazing, the response is as fast as advertised! The only 2 hang ups I have are these: 1. I do not play my games on GAME mode, as I do not like the presets that the LG gives you. I prefer using either VIVID or STANDARD modes that I did have to manually set myself to my liking. Then there is #2 (my biggest problem) the tv SPEAKERS! They are decent, but… if you are watching or playing anything with a very low bass rumble, the tv speakers do shatter!!! I thought it was a broken speaker but after doing some research, it is an ongoing problem with this TV. I bought a sound bar with a subwoofer myself and no longer have this problem. Other than those 2 issues, I will recommend this TV if you want clear, crisp graphics. I also do have a dark living room so this TV works best for me. I hope this helps you out when looking into upgrading your TV for your next generation console! Either a PS5 or Xbox. Happy hunting all!

I was lucky enough to get a PS5 and so far I love everything about it, except for 1 thing. And yes you guessed it, its the charge cable that comes with the console. It is just way toooooooo short, I went to pick up this 9 foot charging cable for only $10 at Best Buy and it works great. Not only is it long enough that I can actually lean back on my couch but charges pretty fast. Unless you have a loading/charging dock for your PS5 controllers, you will want to have this charging cable. It will compliment your PS5 nicely with its white and black colors, plus you will have 9 feet of clearance.

I own the Blu-Ray copy already and have been wanting to upgrade to the 4K version. Saw that The Revenant 4K was on sale so I had to get it. I am so happy I did, because the picture & sound quality compared to Blu-Ray is night and day. Probably depends on what kind of TV you are watching it on but on a LG CX this movie looks amazing. I love the story and movie already, so to see it look this good and sharp just makes me enjoy it even more. If you are fan of 4K and of this movie, The Revenant belongs in your 4K collection!
