Great Dryer Side Vent Installation!

Great stacked washer/dryer for small spaces

We live in a condo that my parents left to us and we had their 27 year old Maytag stacked washer/dryer that worked pretty well but seemed as if it might go out anytime. Trying to find a new unit that would be as sturdy as outlet old one and fit in the confined space was not an easy task but THEN, along came the LG Wash Tower which had all the features - and then some- AND appeared to fit!! Thanks to John, the Pacific Sales - sales associate , we found out we could buy a right angle Dryer vent kit so that it vents from the right side of the unit instead of at the back which does allow it to fit in the space! We were fortunate to get it at $500 off the price! The only part we didn’t like was that the installers knew absolutely nothing about the unit and forgot to leave us the shipping bolts ( which LG recommends you install the next time you move)! We’ve had to communicate with LG directly to get the bolts shipped to us! The unit is beautiful and looks super space age! The washer is a little noisier than I’d like in the spin and drain cycles but it does a very nice job! Both washer and dryer have Steam functions ( which I’m still not really sure about using ). The unit communicates with other LG AI devices and notifies me on my Apple Watch and iPhone that it has completed its cycles which is really helpful in our 1000 sq ft condo!! Haha! The clothes come out very nicely and, most importantly, my wife is happy with it and, as a result, so am I!

The best thing that happened to us was when our Toshiba 49inch tv stopped working and, thanks to our Geek Squad warranty, we were allowed to upgrade to this 55inch LG TV!! We thought we had been watching a great picture until we got this one and realized it was like having cataract surgery!! Amazing colors and clarity!! One of the best features of this TV is the Apple Airplay2 which allows us to beam videos, pictures, etc directly from all of our Apple products( of which there are many!). The Toshiba TV had Google Chromecast which really wasn’t very “Apple friendly” and had to be reinstalled frequently to keep it working! Once you set up the Appleplay on the LG, it is so easy to beam almost instantly!
The Magic remote is nice although it does take a little getting used to. LG also has a ton of free streaming channels ( similar to Roku) that are “ interesting” especially if you like watching old reruns of Deal or No Deal!! Haha but it’s FREE so that’s good!
We absolutely LOVE this LG tv and are thrilled to have it!

Enjoy ease of communication with this Panasonic two-handset cordless phone system. It seems so hard to find a really great cordless phone system. We had an older Panasonic cordless system who's batteries were running down very quickly and the sound occasionally sounded distorted. I bought this one as the ratings were better than most others and the price was reasonable. It doesn't really stay charged all that long (not as long as I'd hoped) but since we have two handsets, when one is getting low on battery power, we switch to the other. We don't use the answerphone feature as we have voicemail with Comcast which is convenient to access when we're away. It's probably not the best cordless phone but is sufficient for our needs.

We had a bottom of the line GE dishwasher that was provided to us by the facility we live in and it broke in under a year. The noise level of 64db was so loud that it was hard to carry on a conversation at time as it sounded like a freight train coming through our condo! We went to Best Buy and consulted with one of the amazing Pacific Sales' associates who spent 45 minutes giving us a tremendous overview of the different brands and the pros and cons. We wanted a unit that was quiet (quieter than 64db), was stainless steel, had a stainless steel tub, AND that had the drying element at the bottom! Kitchenaid is one of the few manufacturers that still includes the drying element in their dishwashers. After looking at all the options, we decided on this Kitchenaid and it is absolutely Fantastic! The installers were great and very thorough and fully explained how to use the machine. It is SO quiet (46db) that, unless you look at the display, you don't know its actually working. The dishes come out sparkling clean and sanitized so my wife is thrilled!! This is THE ONE to get!
