I purchased "Star Trek Trilogy: The Kelvin Timeline" because I somehow never saw the last film, "Beyond." I watched it last week and loved it. It has Abrams' style once more; certain camera angles reminiscent of the original show, for one example. The main cast is once more spot-on with a strong performance, too, by Sofia Boutella, whom I first saw in "Kingsman" and then in "The Mummy." Bravo to this Star Trek trilogy.

When I first heard my cousin's record album, Tea for the Tillerman, I remember being mezmerized by the music, the singer's vocal, the emotional and positive messages one feels from the album. For example, the scene toward the end of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 where "Father and Son" accompanies YANDU'S space burial is quite emptional It's just a great album I soon grouped with Elton John's Captain
Fantastic (1975) and Pink Floyd's The wall, released in 1980, as other great albums, too.
Last, I plan to purchase a "nice" turntable from the Magnolia Room at Best Buy to play these three albums and more.

Long before Rat Race, director Stanley Kramer put together a cast of notable comic talents and sent them on a madcap chase around the country looking for lost loot. Now, MGM has seen fit to release It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World in a solid DVD package that's sure to satisfy fans of the film. The picture is presented in a 16 x 9 widescreen transfer. As this is an older film, the print has a bit of wear and tear, though nothing to get upset over. It's certainly better than most VHS editions. Sound is presented in Dolby Digital 5.1 and is a worthy treatment, though nothing earth-shaking. Extras include a lengthy documentary on the making of the film, a truckload of extended scenes, and a pair of trailers. With such a fine cast, many of whom are still living, a commentary track would have been welcome. However, even without it, It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World is offered in a fine DVD edition and is certainly worth owning.

What began on John Hammond's Isla Nublar island in Jurassic Park reached its surprising, yet inevitable conclusion in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom 25 years later with dinosaurs once more roaming the earth. Wonderful action, direction, and acting by Pratt and Howard (both of whom reprised their roles from Jurassic World), respectively, bring forth a truly realistic, suspenseful, and -- yes-- scariest and perhaps best film in the Jurassic pantheon so far. Cannot wait for the last film of this trilogy.
