Great Series, Bad Packaging

Love this show ever since it first aired, and glad to finally own the whole series on blu-ray. My only complaint is with the packaging. The plastic box is really unnecessarily huge, even for a four-season show, and it's difficult to remove the individual discs from the spindles without fear of bending or breaking them. Simpler, smaller packaging would have been welcome.

It's like someone took all my favorite mechanics of open-wold RPGs and put them into one beautiful package with a great story and exciting combat. I'm about 50 hours in, and probably only about half-way through the main story. I'm happy to slowly explore every nook and cranny of this beautifully realized world.

The first Happy Death Day was a pleasant surprise for me. Wasn't expecting it to be as funny and clever as it is. So when I first heard about the sequel, I was definitely looking forward to it. It's ok, and fans of the first film will enjoy it, but the sequel lacks the inventiveness and originality of the first.

I really was enjoying this movie until they went to the desert, and then it developed some pretty significant pacing problems and never really recovered. Black Manta is kind of a weak villain as well. Still some fun moments though. Where else are you gonna see Willem Dafoe ride a hammerhead shark?
