WOW. I've seen this movie before, everyone has; but this was a completely different experience!
The way I first watched it was on a beat up VHS, with all the warps, dirt, darkness and grain that that implies. It still creeped me out, and I had a good time. But now I can say this movie truly, deeply frightened me. The sound mix is so intense, the 4K remaster is so clean and in-your-face, it's like a truck bearing down on you for the entire runtime. I was so wrapped up in this beast that when the credits rolled, I found myself having a panic attack on my own couch! It's that much tension, it's that relentless! Now I fully understand why TCM is legendary; the original audience was just as terrified!
Don't settle for anything less than the best, and I tell you right here and now, this one is it.

Great Movie from Shout

Been wanting this movie for years, one of my favorites in the slasher genre of the 80s. I highly recommend this movie to every horror fan out there. I have just recently upgraded to Blu-Ray and I was surprised to have found this title on Blu Ray from Shout Factory. Thank u Shout Factory for all the great work you're doing with classic t.v. shows and movies by giving them the releases they deserve. I greatly recommend this movie and anything released by Shout Factory especially if u love lots of extras like me.

This is an excellent release. "The Fog" has had many home video releases but "Scream Factory" knows what fans want in a release and they deliver. What is nice bout the film is that they include some of best extras that previous DVD releases had. They also included new extras including new interviews and a "Horror's Hollowed Ground" with Sean Clark. That man always does a great job. To me if he is featured on any home video release the .then its well worth buying. THE MGM RELEASE however has the audio commentary from John Carpenter and the late Debra Hill which was not carried over to the Scream Factory Edition.

This played awesome as well shout outFactory comes out with good movies you come out with most of the movies that you want and the lies about such that the series started to come out he end up getting them finished I remember swat being out so long and bye bye Black Sheep and they both came out and completed I would buy any series box set or movie from shutout Factory I like this place and the video quality is great I would buy you directly from the company I would recommend this to anybody that are looking for movies that hurt out on DVD but price range is high I hope they come out with Dawn of the Dead collector's edition 1978 movie it would only be right because they came out with Day of the Dead collector's edition in Land of the Dead collector's edition so they need to come Dawn of the Dead collector's edition 1978
