It's Halloween night and Angela is throwing a party but this is no ordinary Halloween party. Everybody's headed to Hull House, a deserted funeral home, formerly the home of a mass murderer. But when the partygoers decide to have a s~ance, they awaken something evil... and these party crashers have a thirst for blood. Now it's a battle for who can survive the night in Hull House. Shout Factory has outdone themselves with this Blu-Ray Release! I have loved this movie since the early 90's when I caught it late one night on a movie channel during a family vacation. The Blu-Ray transfer is top notch! I have never seen this film look better! No grain at all, it's clear and crisp, and the audio is fantastic! It is loaded with bonus features of cast and crew interviews, which is worth it just for all the extra content you get! You get two discs in this collection. One is the Blu-Ray, the other is a regular DVD Version. This is one of the better Blu-Ray's I have seen for an older film!

I missed the opportunity to see it in the theater due to being sick. And the extras on this are great. The final extra at the end of the movie after the credits apparently ties in to the avengers.

The thing that killed me about these movies was seeing them split up on DVD. What made seeing them in the theaters so much fun was getting the two of the them together, complete with all the fake trailers. It was such a great experience, that I refused to buy them until they released them the same way. They've finally done that with this set and it looks great! I'm not as big a fan of Death Proof as I am Planet Terror, but together they make a really fun experience and they look fantastic on blu ray!

This has been the best purchase! Even though the two films are cut short, they still kept my eyes locked on the screen for the 3ish hours this movies run for. The one thing that really grabbed my interest though was the trailers that numerous filmmakers worked on for the intermission between each feature.These trailers got me so interested that I wanted each of them to become movies.
Overall, if you want to feel like you're at a grindhouse, then this is for you.

I have to admit that some of Stephen King's books have not translated well to the big screen or tv, but this is a true exception. I loved this movie as a child and love it all over again as an adult. Drew Barrymore is an adorable and believable little actress in the starring role. David Keith is quite compelling as the father desperate to keep his daughter safe. I'll watch this one time and time again.

I was surprisingly entertained by this movie. I never watched it when it came out because it looked dumb. I had kids though, and they got older and wanted to watch it, so we watched it together. It is still a pretty silly family movie, but Bette Midler gives a ridiculously strong performance, and the overall tone of the movie is fairly intense. I really enjoyed it!

A very different movie. Quirky yet beautiful. I love to be surprised, it happens so rarely at my late stage of life. I will watch again to see more of the nuances. Strange reviews from some people .... this is not a children's movie, don't know why they reviewed it like one. It was like Fantasy meets crazy spy movie in a Science fiction tale.
