The movie was great, but the set...

The only bad thing I can say about the set is this...the 4K disc is the theatrical version and the blu ray is the directors cut extended edition (30 minutes longer). It should have been the other way around. A disappointment, but it is what it is.
As far as the movie I really enjoyed it, but be warned it is VERY slow moving (the directors cut at least) but it really picks up in the 2nd half of the film. It continues the lore of the shining in a very believable and enjoyable way. The ONLY complaint I have about the movie is it's not very scary at all.
The original shining was one of the creepiest films I've ever seen. Psychological, jump scares, pure terror, it had a little bit of everything. There were only MAYBE two or three parts in this one genuinely creepy, but it was still very enjoyable.

It was okay, but...

I will post no direct spoilers...
However...
However...
When you spend 35 years establishing a lore, and then take a hug dump on it 30 seconds into the movie...yeah, not very promising start.
That being said, I understand why they did it in the context of the tale they were trying to tell.
I did enjoy the movie, but's its basically the same old song and dance we have seen five times now. The CGI was good and not over the top, the story was...okay. The return of Linda Hamilton was good. And Arnold I think said goodbye to the role in this film, but in a funny kind of way.
Overall, enjoyable. Just don't set expectations TOO high

Purchased separately this would cost way more than I picked this up for. I am not one to care much for all the "bonus features" that tv shows come out with so this was perfect for me. I just wanted each episode so I could go back and watch my favorites at any time. I never watched it while it was on, but binged it later and LOVED it. And this was a great pickup for me and will be for fans of the show. Yes, the packing itself sucks (I have almost the exact same on for Star Trek Voyager) but as long as you are CAREFUL taking a disc out you will be fine.

Let me preface this by saying I’m not a hunter. Nor am I opposed to it. The game looked like it would be fun though so when I saw it on clearance for a really good price I jumped on it. It’s not horrible, maybe it’s my joycon and the drift issue but the gun attachment didn’t help.
Personally I enjoyed hunting simulator on switch more than this. Again it’s not the worst game, there are just better options

The game is not bad, just bored me a bit. I honestly got it very cheap on sale just to have the starfox items. If I find the toys on super clearance I might bite more. But overall doesn’t grab enough of my attention. Besides that toys to life is way past it’s expiration date with the exception of amiibo figures
