Bayonetta plays much like a smoother version of Devil May Cry. This contains Bayonetta 1 as a download code you can redeem from the eShop and Bayonetta 2 on the cartridge. If you are looking for a hack and slash, this is your game! Fights are chaotic but the gameplay is always buttery smooth. The game itself has a very effeminate art direction that may turn some people away, but I assure you, that if you are a fan of hack and slash games, this is definitely not one to be looked over.
Unlike traditional, circular earbuds, the design of the EarPods is defined by the geometry of the ear. Which makes them more comfortable for more people than any other earbud-style headphones. The speakers inside the EarPods have been engineered to maximize sound output and minimize sound loss, which means you get high-quality audio. The EarPods with Lightning Connector also include a built-in remote that lets you adjust the volume, control the playback of music and video, and answer or end calls with a pinch of the cord.

Definitely outputs better sound than a lot of those cheaper earbuds at the 10-15 dollar range. They have become my go to earbuds, as they are pretty sturdily built and come with an in-line controls to boot. Word for those who use Android phones though: the volume controls dont work. However the play/pause button is recognized and can even skip songs with a double click on it.

A friend of mine recommended the Resident Evil Revelations 2 portion of this game. Specifically, its Raid Mode, which is the game's multiplayer component that sends you through portions of the single player mode to fight hordes of zombies in order to acquire guns, gun parts, and level up your character. Now I will be the first to admit that the raid is limited. Limited weapon selection and limited part selection when compared to something like Diablo 3 or a true "collection" game. But I found the mode to be highly addicting, and quick enough that I could run through a level during a train ride. Or go on a binge and complete a bunch of levels with a friend. It even supports split screen play, meaning a buddy can come over and join right in. It also supports single joy con play, which is definitely not optimal, but possible. I wont rate Revelations 1 or Revelations 2 singleplayer. But simply based on the amount of time Ive spent on the super addictive raid mode, it was absolutely worth every penny spent.

Pretty good VR game for Playstation. I'm honestly not the biggest fan of racing games. However, there's something about hopping into a souped up sports car and being able to feel like you're inside, and drive it like it was yours. It really breathes new life into racing games for me. And this game was a great entry into it. Cars are beautiful, up close detail is rather impressive, and overall it seems rather smooth. However, when you actually start racing the cars, the detail of things you can see in the distance is somewhat poor. And that sort of kills the experience for me to a certain degree. Admittedly, that is somewhat of a nitpick, but because driving in general really depends on my being able to see whats coming ahead before making decisions during the race, it makes a difference to me. Now I am unable to compare it to the original Driveclub game as I have never played it, but I think its important to note that there are visual details from the original game is missing in the VR version. I give this game extra points for being an actual full fledged game as opposed to other VR games that happen to be small bite sized samples of the possibilities of VR. Overall, I'd say the experience was okay. I would personally give this game a 3.5/5
Battle a nightmarish horde of bloodthirsty monsters in Until Dawn: Rush of Blood for the PlayStation 4. Until Dawn: Rush of Blood delivers a terrifying arcade-style first-person shooter experience that changes every time you play it.

Whenever someone walks into my room and asks what it is that I have on my head that makes me look like a robot, I explain to them that its Virtual Reality. Most people for are usually super curious about it and this is usually the first game show them. People totally new to VR usually really enjoy the entertainment provided by this game.
This game is a rails on shooter. You are essentially riding a super spooky haunted roller coaster, toting guns in hand to defend yourself. It's a short, but rather amusing time that really does a great job of showcasing the ability of VR. It's like a cheesy 90s horror film, complete with jump scares and ghosts and ghouls that you just KNOW are going to pop up around a corner. Now thats not to say that it's bad. It's entertaining and because it was one of my first VR games, I did have fun with it. Aiming and shooting the guns felt great. The graphics weren't half bad either. This isn't something you'll be revisiting often. But for the novelty of "I want to be scared and shoot the paranormal in VR," it does the trick. VR has been evolving quite quickly, and there is most likely better out there. But especially when it comes to the VR scene, it could be infinitely worse. But this is definitely an fun romp for a couple of hours that I don't regret purchasing.

For those of you expecting a turn-based rpg like the of 7, 8, or 9, you are in for a surprise. This game is an action rpg through and through. Meaning no turn base combat, but open world combat against enemies. Graphics are gorgeous and the game is quite beautiful. The storyline is scattered between a movie that square enix has released and a mini anime that is available to see on youtube. Its not very necessary to watch them, but it adds some depth and clarity to what is occurring in game.
The game was a super fun experience to me. At the time I played, Noctis, the game's protagonist, was the only character I was able to play as. He is able to equip several types of weaponry (ie swords, daggers, lances etc) and switch between several mid combat to defeat his enemies. your AI computer comrades are quite smart and capable of holding their own and aid you in combat. Each weapon type corresponds to an enemy weakness, but I found myself just stabbing away at enemies with whatever weapon I had that was strongest. Magic spells are reduced to what is basically a grenade you toss with magical components. So for those of you that hope to play as a "mage/caster" you will be disappointed.
There are tons of sidequests that amount to either killing beasts or fetching items, so on and so forth to the point that it will definitely add a few dozen hours of entertainment. And there is a healthy bit of endgame to enjoy as well.
The game now lets you change between Ignis, Gladiolus, Prompto, and Noctis to play as, and has added bosses since the game's inception via downloadable patches which has positively expanded upon the game's world and a player's freedom.
All in all, the game was a great time that took me about 60 hours to complete and left me (despite its shortcomings) genuinely excited for the future of the Final Fantasy franchise.

As someone who's had fond memories of playing with friends on Mario Kart 64, this game is fantastic. Definitely sets the bar for the Mario Kart franchise. Has an excellent array of both new and old maps from the series. It boasts a fairly large character roster and the ability to customize karts to a (somewhat limited) degree. It can definitely get difficult at the higher levels against the cpu for those of you looking for a challenge. But for kids or newcomers who may find it daunting to control, the game has handicap options that will literally steer the kart for you, preventing you from driving off the map, and auto accelerating for you. So for those parents who would like to play with their kids, its an amazing game. It does have online races, but as I usually play with a group of friends on the couch, I can't attest to how that functions. However, as far as games go on the Switch, this is a great testament to the quality and polish Nintendo is capable of.
