Great printer for business documents or shipping labels. Black ink only.
The only issues I have with this printer are:
1) the whole Bluetooth thing is nonsense. It has to be plugged into my computer in order to work.
2) one day it started to says "toner low" but then still works after that for 6 months so far without any other signs of it being low.. So it caused me to buy more ink which for all i know may dry up by the time I finally need it.

The Blu-ray disc looks better than the 4k disc!

I was let down by this 4k restoration. The transfer seems too flickery. I actually found the blu-ray disc to have much better image quality than the 4k disc! It did come with a nice glossy slipcover and a digital copy, so its nice to be able to stream forrest gump when I'm out and about somewhere. I would only recommend this if you don't already own the movie on blu-ray.

could be worse

If you're reading this review then odds are you're familiar with the movie and want information on the actual release. I'm glad this release has the movie in widescreen and not full screen, so it could be worse. I'm also glad that it has dolby 5.1 audio and English and Spanish subtitles. The packaging is awful. It's in an eco-case (one of those flimsy cases with a hole in the case shaped like a recycle-symbol), so if that bothers you you'll have to replace the case with another dvd case. This release is okay for now but hopefully will get restored for a high definition blu-ray in the future.

It's a little bit big and bulky, but I got used to it right away. Nowadays people tend to use wireless mouses, but in my opinion those are more prone to malfunction and plus you need to replace batteries. If you're like me and want to keep things old-school with a corded mouse, this one is not a bad choice. Has a scroll wheel in the center. This mouse works perfect on my MacBook, but since my MacBook doesn't have a USB port I had to buy a USB-C to USB adapter.

Unfortunately newer MacBooks have USB-C inputs but not USB inputs. A good way to remedy that is to purchase the j5create - Ultra Drive Dock. Its a little pricey, but if you have a modern Mac and want to 'USB, you will need one of these. When you plug it in you'll still have two USB-C inputs, but adds two additional USB inputs.

This player can read CDs, DVDs, and Blu-Rays. It can not read 4k UHD discs. The software that it comes with is awful and can not play blu-rays! I had to seek out third party software. I ended up buying other software for 40 bucks and downloading free software, both of which are better than PowerDVD which is what this player came with.
