THERE'S A NEW REASON TO BE AFRAID OF THE DARK. A sci-fi/horror sleeper hit that birthed a franchise and launched the career of a new action movie icon, Pitch Black holds it's own today as a nerve-shredding creature-feature in which the monsters outside finally meet their match against a monster within. When an intergalactic transport ship crashes on a remote desert planet with no sign of help on the horizon, the survivors, led by Fry (Radha Mitchell), band together to find a way back home. Among the passengers is Riddick (Vin Diesel), a convicted murderer being transported by marshal Johns (Cole Hauser) - and now freed of his chains and on the loose. But as a solar eclipse plunges the planet into total darkness, a threat even worse than Riddick reveals itself, and the last humans standing may have to form an uneasy truce with the cunning fugitive (whose eyes have been surgically altered to see in the dark) to last the long night. Boasting crackerjack direction and a whip-smart script by David Twohy, as well as a star-making performance by Diesel, Riddick's first outing is freshly unleashed in an illuminating, brand new 4K restoration, with hours of exclusive bonus content.

Bought this for my family. They love it. They have a big, open living room and dining room and this fills the whole space up with sound. Gets pretty loud and bass is surprisingly good. Setup took little work including connecting phones to it to play music. Highly recommended if you’re not pressed about having the absolute best in sound.
Wemo WiFi Smart Plug is smaller than ever and gives you total control over your lights and devices. Turn them on and off from anywhere using the Wemo app or by using your voice with Apple HomeKit, Amazon Alexa, or Google Assistant.* You can also set schedules and timers for lights and devices. Or use Away Mode to randomly turn lamps on and off when you~re not home. Sync lights connected to the Smart Plug with the sunset and you~ll never have to come back to a dark home. Smart Plug~s extra-small design~45% smaller than the previous model~won~t cover both outlets, freeing up the second outlet for a second Smart Plug to connect fans, lamps, and other devices.

We have Apple HomeKit and it work well. My fiancée set it up and it works perfectly for her. For some reason Siri won’t work for me. I can turn it off in the Home app by pressing the button, but I can’t just ask Siri to do it. I don’t know if it’s because I’m not signed in to the Wemo app like my fiancée is, but it’s worth mentioning.

I’ve had this TV for nearly a month, and it’s been great so far. This is my second 4K TV, but my other unit was so old it didn’t even have HDR. The TV gets very bright and HDR content looks amazing. Colors need some tweaking in order get them right, and it makes a big difference in how my UHDs, blu-rays, and games look. Seriously, there are finer details that show up way better if you make adjustments. If you’re considering getting this TV it might be worth getting a pro calibration. Note: these fancy HDR TVs aren’t really a set-it-and-forget-it type of thing. Depending on what I’m watching I switch settings between game, theater and vivid with customer settings for each.
The base is very sturdy but takes up more space that the smaller feet on some other TVs. I didn’t have enough space on the entertainment center for my soundbar so I purchased a $25 mount from Amazon and top-mounted to my TV.
I’m a gamer but I don’t play competitively, so the lack of game-centric features like VRR don’t bother me. Likewise, many of the problems other buyers had with the OS and built-in apps don’t bother me because I use an Apple TV.
The only issues I have are minor. Occasionally, google assistant will pop up at the bottom of the screen like I’m talking to it even though I never use it. It’s not frequent, but it happens.
Sometimes CEC doesn’t properly turn off all my connected devices. This TV boots up very quickly—which is good!—but sometimes when I power off the TV my soundbar and/or Apple TV don’t power off quickly enough before my TV gets a signal that a CEC-connected device is on and turns itself back on. Again, not a big problem—the TV is too fast for its own good sometimes—but it’s worth mentioning.
Only other issue is the occasional stutter in slow pans during movies. That’s pretty much unavoidable in most TVs these days, especially higher end sets.
End of the day I highly recommend this TV especially if you primarily use it for movies. This is a great TV for the money.
