Does this come with Microsoft Word? Does it support Firefox?
It does not come with Microsoft Word and you can only install Microsoft products on it. That means no Chrome and no Firefox. However, when you go to the internet, you can navigate to Google and use it that way. You can also log into your Google account. You have to download everything through the Microsoft store that you want to use on it.

Hello there. I was wondering if anyone knows if these tablets (Amazon Fire 7 - 7" Tablet 8GB 7th Generation, 2017 release) has parental controls? Also, do my kids have to have their own amazon accounts in order to use? Can it have Google Play? Thank you!
These tablets have excellent parental control. I use it for my daughter. I did not have to create a new account for her. All I did is set up the parental controls under my account and I was able to add her with her name and age. This blocks her from buying things without my permission. If she would like to purchase something, I have to put in my password first. It also blocked her from seeing things on the Amazon store that are not appropriate for her age
