If the tv is mounted over a fireplace will the heat from the fireplace eventually affect the performance of the tv?

I want to store my music , which is in iTunes, and then plug the MyBook into a different computer and play music there. Can I do that with this? Will it store the iTunes program, and will the files look the same when I open them on the other computer?
You must have iTunes program on both computers. But you can have music library on this drive. Just go into iTunes on both computers with the drive attached and add the WD drive as a location iTunes looks for. Also make sure to disable iTunes automatic downloads. Otherwise it will try to copy all the files to iTunes folder on both computers.
