Nice membrane keyboard

Great RBG against the white “plate” beneath the keys. The white really helps the colors look clear and vibrant.
As with some other Razer products, the lighting can change based on the games you play. For example, in Overwatch, the colors will change based on which character I pick. The movement and ability keys are automatically set to different colors so you can see them, and the LED on certain ability keys will blink to indicate that the ability is on a cooldown. Not entirely helpful because you’re primarily looking at the monitor when playing a game, so these features may go unnoticed most of the time, but it is pretty neat. Very interactive.
If you’re a mechanical keyboard fan, this board might not be for you. The key feel is very obviously membrane, but I enjoy the tactility regardless (and I think I prefer the feel more than the Hako Royal Trues I have on one of my custom boards).
No customization options whatsoever, unless I’m missing something. USB cable is NOT removable, but there are cable gutters on the bottom to route the wire whichever way you want.
Cannot use the Razer PBT keycap upgrade, which is fine for me because I prefer ABS plastic. I read online that removing these keycaps is not recommended and can damage the board because they are not the same kind of mount as other Razer boards and are not designed to be removed. I would like to be proven wrong, but I’m not willing to damage the board to find out. (When it comes to cleaning, just use compressed air to blow away any debris while holding the board upside down.)
Squeaky spacebar. Only when I press it on the right side. Since the keycaps cannot be removed, and further customization is not really in the board’s design, I cannot fix the bad stabilizer in the spacebar. I hope the squeak goes away over time.
Overall, I like this keyboard. I’ve wanted it for months despite working on custom mechanical projects, and I finally got it. It doesn’t blow me away or anything—it’s just a decent board that I was drawn to because of the key feel. It’s a good membrane board. It’s got a lot of features. Read up on what it can do.

Been using and renewing for several years on many devices. Haven't had any problems, but to be honest I don't really do anything that would get my devices into trouble anyway. The scans are super easy—they run automatically every so often, but I can always manually start one if I feel the need to. It's also nice to see the Webroot Threat Shield green checkmark next to safe/trustworthy links in my search results.

My first monitor. Paired with my new PC running Ryzen 5 3600 and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Super. Clearest gaming experience I’ve ever had.
Monitor worked right out the box. Didn’t have to do much setup aside from my brightness preferences.
Comes with blue light filter options built into the settings.
The stand is sturdy with metal construction.
You can rotate the screen, angle it in any direction, raise it, lower it—very versatile.
The built-in speakers work fine, but the quality is not the best (which is to be expected). This is not anything negative about the monitor, really; the fact that it has its own speakers is great considering it’s more of a budget-friendly monitor.
One thing I can’t figure out is that a horizontal “wave” would occasionally travel vertically across the screen sometimes when playing certain graphics/animations in games like Overwatch (on highest settings) and I think also in Shadow of the Tomb Raider (on highest settings). Not sure if this is an issue with the monitor or if it’s an issue with the graphics card or game compatibility. But it’s not too big of an issue, and I haven’t noticed it happening lately.
For the price and all the features (and the size!), I’m glad I purchased this monitor when it was on sale. I would recommend it.

What I've been wanting for a long time!

My point of view is that of someone who has been gaming on a notebook laptop with integrated graphics, A.K.A. not a gaming computer. I longed for an upgrade so I could actually *see* the characters in my games, or all the details I was missing while running games on low graphics settings. Very satisfied with the HP OMEN 30L!
PROS: price, upgradability, quality, design, performance, storage, graphics, size, accessibility, many ports and inputs/outputs, accommodates several display types
CONS: temperature control, fans can get loud (but you can add more fans to reduce the workload!)
OVERALL: This desktop was so much more of an upgrade than I imagined it would be. The graphics are beautiful. There is plenty of storage space with the SSD and the HDD. There is room for upgrades on pretty much every component, though I'm not 100% sure about the motherboard. The design is very streamlined, and the RGB options are more classic and minimalist (which I love!) as opposed to some of the more flashy prebuilts on the market. It runs well, and I think it is the right choice for someone who is on a tighter gaming budget and doesn’t need “the best” specs. Much more detail below.
GRAPHICS: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER. Not top of the line, but darn good! A brief example of how well it performs: I play Overwatch on Epic settings (the highest settings the game offers), and it blew my mind with how clear and vivid everything is. The game performs great. Oh, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Looks so good and plays so well!
COOLING: It comes with a couple of case fans pre-installed with room for more if you want to buy an extra and add it yourself. You may need it, depending on what you use this PC for, because the CPU and GPU do seem to hit kinda high average temperatures while gaming. The fans can get loud and will sometimes make a high-pitched noise when at high power. So, I might invest in an extra fan to combat that.
CASE: It's about an inch or so smaller in width than most, if not all, cases I saw when I was thinking of building my own PC. I needed something a little more sleek, and while this is still a big tower, it gives me that bit of extra room I needed. Cable management is just so clean and tidy. There is a little spot at the bottom right with nothing there, so I placed a miniature Funko figure there. 3 LED RGB areas on the case: strip along the top inside, diamond on top front, circle on bottom front. Each one is independently controlled in the OMEN Command Center, and there are a number of effects and colors to choose from.
MEMORY/RAM: It only has 8GB, which is not a lot if you want to game and stream at the same time or generally multitask with demanding programs. It's plenty if you just want to play a game and maybe have a web browser or Discord open at the same time as the game. You can expand it up to 32GB, I believe, as it has two memory slots that can accept RAM sticks up to 16GB each. I chose to upgrade the RAM, and it was easy. I purchased the exact model that comes pre-installed, except I chose non-RGB to save a few bucks. The issue with this upgrade is that they will no longer run at the full 3200MHz, defaulting to lower speeds. This can be fixed by overclocking, but that will void the PC’s warranty. I did not want to take that risk, so I’m using this PC just fine with the 16GB RAM at a slightly lower speed (I don’t even know how the speed affects performance… I’m no expert lol). It's a matter of balance and what you are willing to do.
MOTHERBOARD: I don’t understand motherboards all that much, but I do know that this one has many options for USB devices and different kinds of displays. It’s HP’s own Moria 3 motherboard and you can find out more info straight from them.
Bottom line: I almost bought a more expensive desktop with Ryzen 7 and RTX 2060 because I was afraid I wouldn't be getting the full experience with these lower specs. I was wrong to assume that, and I am glad I chose to buy this one instead. I saved money, and I get to have a powerful PC for my games.

i plugged the monoter into my ninteno switch it show on the screen for like 30 sec and then went went dark i checked on my swich and told me the monoter needs an HDCP thing and it does not tell in the specifacations is something wrong with my switch/mon
You shouldn’t need any extra devices to get it up and running. I’ve played my Switch on this monitor a few times with no issues. All I had to do was plug the Switch’s HDMI cable into the monitor, and then the monitor automatically detected where the video and audio input are coming from. Are you using the HDMI cable that came with your Switch? Make sure it’s the right one and that it is not damaged. Also check if your Switch or Switch game need any updates. I’m unaware if there are any compatibility issues with certain games, but perhaps you could search this issue with the specific game you’re trying to play. Otherwise, I would assume there is an issue with the monitor or with your Switch. I hope you are able to get it to work!

I purchased a hp omen 30l recently with hyperx 8gb ram. If I purchase one more of the same (hyperx 8gb ram ddr4) can I just plug it right in and have it work?
You can, but they will not run at 3200MHz anymore unless you choose to overclock them with Ryzen Master. Overclocking may void the warranty with HP. Personally, I added a second stick of the same RAM and it works. I don't know what difference the MHz speed makes, honestly, so it must not be such a big deal.

Does it come with 1 or 2 sticks of RAM and is the RAM it comes with RGB?
It comes with one stick of 8GB RAM pre-installed, and it does have RGB that you can control with the OMEN Command Center. There is an extra slot where you can add another stick of RAM if you would like to purchase one and install it yourself. The exact model number for the HyperX RAM this computer comes with is HX432C16FB3A/8
