can these be used as both front and rear speakers in a surround sound system or do you need or are there bookshelf speakers designated for front and rear?
I'm using these as rear surround speakers. Im sure you can use them as front speakers too. These are a little big. Maybe the Polk S10 for rear surround and The S15's for front or maybe tge S20's for fronts.
