Excellent but will it last?

Outstanding picture quality at a great price and perfect size for my bedroom. My last two expensive HD flat screens from Panasonic and Vizio died just outside of their warranty so from now on I will only buy the cheapest models. I suspect they'll last just as long which isn't saying much. I grew up with a TV that lasted 20 years. Those days are gone forever.

After a month of use I am satisfied. It replaced a higher line Whirlpool which only lasted 7 years. The repairman who diagnosed the Whirlpool as a dead motor suggested I buy the cheapest washer as none last that long. My first washer was a Kenmore which lasted 20 years. Those days are gone forever. I was not pleased with the hoses which I bought from BB as they weren't as high quality as I could have bought from Lowes. Next time I'll buy my own hoses and let the installer use those.

The 4K Fire Stick was recently upgraded to steam Amazon Music HD at its highest resolution of 24/192. This is a major event for audiophiles who were searching for an inexpensive device to stream this subscription based streaming service. If your AV receiver's DAC can't handle 24/192 content you'll need an HDMI audio extractor with it's optical output connected to a stand alone DAC. The HDMI extractor is then connected to the TV or monitor. The extractor from Cables Matter works in my system. Make sure the highest quality is selected on the Stick and the middle position is selected on the extractor.

Great picture, excellent DTS sound, and loaded with features there is little to dislike about this winner. Some might find navigation it's layout a bit confusing but it's easy to master and much the same as a Fire Stick.
While I think the built-in speakers are above average compared to other flat screens I use an older non HDMI AV receiver connected to the Toshiba via it's optical out, The AV receiver powers outboard speakers in a 2.1 arrangement. The Toshiba has a single button on the remote to mute it's speakers making switching easy.
Sources for my Tosh include an attic mounted antenna, Roku 3, plus a wireless connection to Spectrum's middle tier via the Roku 3. That's more content than I can possible watch.
I got a great deal at $199 on sale at BB and that price included a Echo Dot3. Perhaps BB will offer something similar or even better during Black Friday.
