Great movie for nerds and families

I really enjoyed this movie. It's got a lot for nerds to enjoy, but it also has a lot of heart that makes it great to watch as a family. The only downside is the kid playing Billy Batson. He's way to emo and doesn't feel like the same character that Shazam is portraying. Other than that, it's a lot of fun. Highly recommend.

Not Burton's best

This film is much like all of the other live-action remakes that Disney has been cranking out, not as good as the original. In my opinion, this move is fine, but the animated version is far superior. Also, Tim Burton needs to go back to doing his weird originals. I miss those.

I don't hate this movie, but I don't love it either. Hey, Mark Hammil even said he had major problems with the story line of this movie. Its Star Wars and has some awesome moments, but some of it just feels very off for Star Wars and it just kind of sours the movie at times for me. That's just my opinion. I still like to watch the movie, but it's not my favorite of the series. Still a recommend though.

This was an open box purchase and I didn't receive the instruction manual, so my rating might have been a full 5 stars if that had been included. Sony makes great products, but this one leaves a little to be desired. The setup was a little more confusing than it needed to be. Also, the sound is a little hissy at times. I'd only recommend if you are getting it at a good price and don't want precise sound in your surround sound.
